Since it was a Friday night and my friend wanted to spend some time together at a nice restaurant. With that in mind, we decided to brave the KL traffic and headed straight for KLCC and went straight to Chinoz which had been renovated a year or two ago with a whole new menu.And once we were at the entrance, we were greeted by staffs who were very polite and also attentive, if not a little too much so at certain times. Dining here during dinner time, so the restaurant was packed with people.while waiting for the dishes to served, i ordered a red velvet cake as my starter.The cake looks nice but i just can't finish it all as the portion is too big and also it is not tasting actually. too creamy and texture too bad.so after waiting for 15 minutes, my chicken pie was on table.All are about vege and mushrooms, and a lil bit chicken.Overall the tasting of chicken pie was OK to have a try.

i am guessing that this is a vegetarian pie because it has 3 different mushrooms in itit is served with a side of salad WITHOUT any dressingweird isn't itthe brown sauce is also separated from the pie so you can eat the pie with our without the brown saucethe pie is also very big and is possible to be a main coursethe most prominent mushroom in the pie would be the white and brown button mushrooms

it's pronounced OH-Zee which is short form for Australiano idea why it is named after the island continent but anything Australian should be goodthe meat pie is quite big and on top of it is a generous amount of mashed potatoes and green peas!the OZ pie does not have much gravy but when eaten with the mashed potatoes and green peas it acts like the gravythe brown sauce in itself has not much tasteit is garnished with 3 sticks of blanched carrots

This is a great and peaceful place to dine. With the overwhelming service from their staffs, I must say I really enjoy Chinoz smoked salmon makimono. Delightfully presented, the portion was somewhat generous too.This would be a nice place if you really like good food. Not so much for couples, as the portion is yet again generous. WedgesCheese, turkey, ham & mushroom spaghettiTonight, me and my colleage are decided to drop into Chinoz On The Park for dinner. We were seated in a nice private area inside, simple but sophisticated. This private dining area is quiet and cozy. Nothing says "weekend" like pancakes for breakfast. Two pieces of tinged gold pancake, topped with mascarpone cream cheese, surrounding was decorated nicely with mixed berries and dry apricot.The pancake was so light, fluffy and SPONGY! Non powdery smell that I most hated, and it wasn't greasy too! The most highlight was the creamy yet silky smooth mascarpone cheese. Fruit was all nice, but it would be great if they were sautéed.Came with a tea pot set. A distinctive flavor and aroma of citrus

Chinoz at the Park is situated near the KLCC park where you can see the fountains and the many people walking or jogging aroundchinoz menu is pricey but on certain occasions they also have set lunches and they one that i tried costs RM29.90 ++the set include a choice of salad or soup and a main courseit was not a memorable lunch for me as the salad was pretty bland and the pasta that I ordered isn't unique as Ben's and can be gotten anywhere.

KLCC sometimes seems like a culinary wasteland for those seeking great food, but Chinoz is one of the outlets here that can provide relief. Chinoz on the Park is offering a promotional British pub food menu, with recipes ranging from cornish pasties to London Particular soup, fish pies with mashed potato crust to potted shrimp, steak & oyster pies to barnsley chops. We had already eaten dinner at Malones that evening, but couldn't resist stopping here for a light supper (sort of). The pressed ox tongue with beetroot chutney was tender & meaty; reminiscent of the flavour & texture of beef cheek, but somehow more of an acquired taste
