Due to the difficulty in finding parking place in 3 Two Square, I rarely come here for lunch on weekdays. Anyway, upon seeing too many new cafes here, I finally decided to pay this place a visit. After all, on weekdays, there are usually cheaper lunch sets. I saw this place which from the outside, appeared to sell burgers only. So I decided to try the food inside since the price seemed ok. I ordered the set where any two items cost RM 30 instead of RM 16 for one item. The set came together with

Due to the difficulty in finding parking place in 3 Two Square, I rarely come here for lunch on weekdays. Anyway, upon seeing too many new cafes here, I finally decided to pay this place a visit. After all, on weekdays, there are usually cheaper lunch sets. 

I saw this place which from the outside, appeared to sell burgers only. So I decided to try the food inside since the price seemed ok. 

I ordered the set where any two items cost RM 30 instead of RM 16 for one item. The set came together with the soup of the day which was very thick pumpkin soup with any amount of bread to go with. The soup can be scooped ourselves. 

I ordered the penne with a special bolognaise sauce (with sone fancy name) with a lot of tomato-looking sauce with sardin of all things! The sauce, I felt, was something I can cook myself! The penne was cooked al-dente and not too soft like some other Malaysian restaurants and lived up to its italian cuisine style. 

I also ordered a Turkey Ham foccaccia sandwich to be takeaway and eaten for dinner since I was having yoga class. There was quite of bit of cheese together too. Too bad that the foccacia sandwich was a bit too soggy for my palate when I reheated it for dinner. 

My friend ordered the famous Napoli burger (RM 15.90) containedd grilled chicken meat patty which was so beautifully grilled to perfection that the juice and succulence was maintained. The burger was quite big with some oily wedges together. 

We ordered the famous Firenze Coffee (RM 12.90) which was amazing iced coffee with a lot of whipped cream and some coffee powder spread on top. The taste was bittersweet - perfect for coffee lovers. 

The Verona Coffee (RM 12.90) came served in a whiter colour and probably did not contain that much coffee taste, hence not very much suitable for my tastebud. 

The place also had a tea-time promotion of getting coffee at RM 3 for every cake bought after 2pm. 

The ambience is very cosy and quiet hence suitable for business meetings. The music was soft and sentimental and really sets the mood. I am definitely coming back. 

They also offer Italian cuisine cooking classes for children and the class is conducted in a room with special see-through glass door.

One of the newer Italian places in town, serving up homely Italian food in a cosy environment. This pasta was very al dente, and tart with lots of thich and rich tomato sauce. Very slurpy and satisfying. Serving size is also decent for its price.

Served with beef patty, cheddar, beef bacon, tomatoes, sauteed chili mushrooms, pink mayonnaise and Parmesan. Comes with side of sliced fried potatoes as well.Both the Milano and Palermo was quite similar. The only differences was the cheese, mushrooms and sauce. The cheese on the Palermo was stronger. The mushrooms wasn't overpowering the burger unlike most of the mushroom burgers out in the market. The sauce was well balanced and overall, a clean burger as well. Veggies were really fresh and

A combination of beef patty, beef salami, Fontina cheese, roasted zucchini, mustard & Parmesan served with sliced fried potatoes, similar to wedges.The burger tasted rather clean instead of sloppy and flavourful. The beef was cooked just right and maintained its juices. The veggies were really crispy and the sauce was able to balanced out the flavours. The buns were really thick, but soft. The sliced potatoes were really good. Personally, I favour potatoes so much that even a simple fried potato would get the job done. Seasoned with a little salt, taste of heaven! The price is RM17.90. Reasonable and affordable.

Lamb Palermo burger. I brought a coupon from a groupbuy site and redeemed this Lamb Palermo burger. It came in a basket, a burger with potato wedges. The potato wedges were really tasty, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, slightly salty. The lamb patty was thick and fragrant with lamb smell, slightly salty due to the thick cheese. The burger was quite delicious.

Chocolate milkshake. The chocolate milkshake came in a tall glass and the portion was staggered until the tip. Once I took a sip, the drink was really sweet. Too much sweetness for me in fact. The taste of a milkshake was fine, a little milky and a little bit of chocolaty. The ice was not blended too finely and I still could bite big pieces of ice. They should tone down the sweetness level.

mush room chicken. actually i like mushroom very much , when this dish serve to me , i was surprise that have so many mushroom. very awesome. it was taste nice and big portion.this is Rosted chicken with drumstick. just see the picture also know is was very big portion too. din't disappointment me . their service was good . and i like the environment here. rate it and like it.

Chef Nicola's foremost recommendation might seem surprising: roast chicken. But it's a pleasure _ not amazing, but nearly impossible to criticize. Much like this restaurant, really.

All in all, it's a lively place, well worth visiting, with chef Nicola amiably strolling around & chatting with customers. He plans to offer cooking classes by next month, so this place could become quite a gastronomic hot spot soon.

Authentic, well-executed Italian dishes can be expected here. The house-made bread, grilled with rosemary & generously topped with sauteed chicken liver, capers & red onions, is a fitting representative of the food _ simple stuff, featuring fresh, robust flavors.

Breakfast beckons! Heading to Petaling Jaya's iCook, which recently opened a little deli-like area next to its main restaurant. Nice to start the day with sunshiny eggs; this "Andiamo" Italian-style omelet, stuffed with potatoes & onions, served with sauteed mushrooms, bell pepper & salsa, won't win any awards for KL's best, but it has a homemade touch that some might enjoy. On the bright side, wine is available at 11am alongside coffee. All in all, iCook isn't a bad choice for a morning meal, especially in this neighborhood, but keep your expectations reasonable.

The first time we were there, Wendy went for the Rustico Panini (RM 14.90) which was crispy chicken with tomato & lettuce between freshly made focaccia bread. Since the aim of icook is to highlight other lesser-known Italian staples, we thought the focaccia might be a good place to start. Sadly, we were not satisfied with this sandwich because there was very little filling inside. Although the chicken was tasty and warm out of the oven, it was not enough because the focaccia bread is very thick.

Sadly, we were not satisfied with this sandwich because there was very little filling inside. Although the chicken was tasty and warm out of the oven, it was not enough because the focaccia bread is very thick. Fresh bread, but still very thick. Overall, we tasted more bread than chicken, lettuce or tomato. Not one that we will return for.

For desserts, icook has a small range of cakes for the picking in their refrigerator. Aside from that, they also have Chocolate Mousse (not pictured) and Tiramisu (RM 10.90) neatly packed in these round plastic containers which are also perfect for takeaway. The Chocolate Mousse was smooth, decadent and a joy to scoop away at slowly. The Tiramisu, while boasting of silky mascarpone, had its sponge fingers drowned in too much coffee leading to a very watery finish.

The Roast Chicken is one of the specialties on the menu that you can find on their specials chalkboard. Going at RM30.90 for half a chicken, it prices itself just slightly higher than other chicken joints like Nandos or Kenny Rogers. Although I agree that the meat was a bit dry in the end, it was a great authentic serving of roast chicken with really crispy skin that packed a lot of flavour! There's also a very generous serving of succulent potatoes to go with it, so don't worry about not having enough carbs with this. =)

Despite it being loaded with toppings as its name suggested, we felt there was too little cheese, and it ended up being a very "wet" pizza presumably due to all the vegetables (although, the fresh ingredients used must be commended). By this visit, we also felt a little bored with the tomato puree used because it was tasted exactly the same as that which was served with our calamari from earlier visits and complimentary bread. It didn't hit our taste spots, but perhaps it could float yours?
