The kimchi chigae taste ok. But it is a little plain for me. It can be better I believe. But it is a bit too spicy. For the fried rice cake and noodle are up to standard. They are quite Good. For the Bibimbap, it looks ok but i think the vege on the top can be more to cover it up more nicely. The taste is ok ok too. I love the sodubu chigae there most. 

I most like the side dishes here. They are not stingy in giving all the side dishes and the choices are a lot! The BBQ pork is quite nice, up to standard. But eat it when it is still hot. Besides, the sodubu chi gae is also very nice. I love it. It has a bit cheesy taste and its taste suits me well. I love it!

Dduk Bboggi or spicy rice cake, is one the most popular street food in Korea. Dduk Bboggi is a stir fried of cylinder shaped rice cakes in a hot and spicy red chili paste, together with ingredients such as flat fish cakes, hard boiled egg and sprinkled with white sesame. At Seoul Palace Korean BBQ, a sumptuous spread of complimentary Banchan 饭馔, will be provided with ordering of any main course as indicated in their menu. Each table will have a total of 9 different types of Banchan or side dishes that was served in a small bowl. The daily banchan served was beansprouts, two types of kimchi, sausages, pumpkin, seaweed, long beans, slices of fish cakes and cut fruits with mayonnaise. These side dishes are all refillable with no extra charges.

Banchan. After we placed our order, we were served with a range of banchan while waiting for our main dish to arrive. The banchan was kimchi, beansprouts, spinach, fish cake slices, potato in mayo sauce and others. The kimchi was lighty tangy spicy taste, I wrapped it together with the BBQ meat. The beansprouts were crunchy. The potato mayo was soft and sweet.

Korean Juice. Seoul Palace has a few branches and this Puchong branch is a newly opened one. The restaurant was not too full when we arrived. We were seated on a tatami type of seating. While we waited for the meat to be grilled nicely, we enjoyed the Korean juice first. The drink was chilled and it was very thick, tasted like orange juice. It was sweet with some sourness.

Semgyeop-sal - pork belly. We ordered one marinated pork and one non-marinated pork which was this pork belly. After it was being BBQ, the outlook looked very dry. Indeed, the moment we ate it, it was extremely dry and the meat was not tender at all. It made it hard to even chew the meat. The meat was bland and tasteless. In order not to waste the food, we put paste to moisture it.

Ginseng chicken. The ginseng chicken was the last to be served and it was served in a very big hot pot. The chicken was big and since there were four of us, we get to have one quarter each. There were glutinous rice embedded inside the chicken. The glutinous rice was soft and it was not too sticky. The soup has some slight ginseng taste and it was quite delicious. Not bad.

Pork Galbi - short ribs marinated in special soy sauce. This BBQ meat was their signature and it was at the top of their menu, so we ordered it. The meat was being BBQ nicely as it was still juicy and tender. The marination was good and it was slightly sweet. All of us enjoyed this meat and kept on wrapping with lettuce and garlic to go with the meat. This meat is a must-order.

Kimchi jjigae. The kimchi jjigae was served in a hot pot, and it consisted of needle mushrooms, beancurd, spring onions and pork slices. I took a sip of the kimchi soup and it was spicy but I was still able to take the spiciness. The kimchi taste was not too strong and it suited my taste bud. The pork slices were not too generous. I almost finished more than half of the bowl.

Dolsot Bibimbap. The bibimbap came with seaweed, cucumber, carrot, turnip, minced meat and lettuce. All the vegetable ingredients were shredded. The paste and egg was placed on top of the rice. We mixed all the ingredients together. I would say the paste was not enough as the rice was slightly dry in my opinion. The taste was good though. The ingredients gave a crunchy texture.
