fat spoon cafe is located at the damansara uptown.It's somewhere at damansara utama.Fat spoon cafe is a chinese style restaurant that offer wide variety of chinese and malaysian food.This is the perut ikan rice.Very nice i would say.The fish is fried tenderly and it's so fresh.It's so crispy and the meat is so juicy.The curry is so fragrant and tasty.It's not too spicy but really tasty.This is really nice to eat with the rice and fish.Like this so much.

The decor at this restaurant really brings you back to olden times, with wooden furniture and rattan chairs and some really interesting decor. I was told that the restaurant's forte is nyonya dishes but I see fried sambal rice and chinese noodles on the menu too. Definitely no western food. I find the food is good but I have to say their coffee is what hooked me. My cup of latte came with visually pleasing coffee art done in chocolate cream and from my first sip, I was pleased with the aroma

For a popular cafe, I thought food would be better, since everyone was raving about it.The dry spicy beef macaroni wasn't really good. The beef was in quantities that left more to be desired. To its credit, it was really spicy and aromatic, but I found the stark lack of saltiness in the dish.The macaroni was also completely flavourness and too al dente (I'm not sure macaroni is supposed to be that way).The egg was very well done though - hard on the outside and runny on the inside. The next time you're around Damansara Utama / Uptown why not drop by Fat Spoon for an unique dining experience.The Ulam friend rice is highly recommended. The fried rice was aromatically infused with the flavours of Ulam where the the soft and tangy fried chicken complete the satisfaction on your taste bud. It is however kinda dry but fear not as you have the Ulam as side dish. Dip into the sambal belacan and begin munching again.

Yesterday went to the Fat Spoon with my colleagues. This shop is situated at Damansara Uptown. This is my first time here. It is a special shop with old style decoration and home like feeling.
