I saved the best for last. This could possibly be another one of my favourite desserts. The cempedak inside the spring rolls are cooked really well. After one bite, I could smell the strong and rich aroma of the cempedak itself. The spring rolls were really crispy. Furthermore, the mixture of both hot spring rolls and cold ice cream were able to create that contrastic blend in my mouth. Loved the experienced.

On this lovely Saturday evening, I found myself circling Damansara Uptown in search of somewhere to have dinner. Ulam fried rice with curry chicken. The ulam fried rice came with a bowl of chicken curry and a piece of papadam. The ulam fried rice came in dark color and very fragrant. The rice was nicely fried, mixture together with the ulam. It has slightly spicy flavour and also aromatic flavour too. The curry chicken was slightly oily though, a bit diluted but still fine. The curry was not too salty and not too spicy.

ABC soup. The restaurant design was a bit old school and traditional decorations. It has a type of homey feelings i.ebalik kampong when I stepped in. We added on an ABC soup since the price is cheaper if ordered together with a main meal. It has carrot slices in it. The soup has the ABC flavour but not strong in pepper taste. It was not too thick and not too salty either.

Homemade popiah. Since I just had my heavy breakfast in the morning, I ordered this homemade popiah as my lunch. It made a light meal for me. It was a signature appetizer in Fat Spoon and the popiah came in a small frying pan! What a presentation. The popiah was big pieces and filled with ingredients. The sengkuang, beancurd was boiled to softness. It was quite bland overall and nothing to shout about.

这个 Spicy Beef Macaroni Soup让我想到生病的时候妈妈一定会煮清汤意粉给我吃。但是这个一点都不适合病人吃。因为是汤是红红的，里面有很多牛肉碎，带有一点辣的味道。如果嫌不够辣旁边更提供辣椒粉和limau。

三个体积不小的虾子层层叠灾意大利面上面。画面很好看。虾子外层有一层薄薄但是味道很浓的酱汁。虽然味很强烈。但是不会掩盖了面条的味道。面条的味道很有娘惹的风格，味道很香，不过太多香茅碎了，这点我不喜欢。

这个 Fat Salmon Sandwich简直正中我胃口。和名字一样，面包夹着的三文鱼很厚啊。我还以为是那种很咸的烟熏三文鱼。这个完全没有反而有这三文鱼天然的油脂味道，里面还夹着苹果片，味道清清淡淡，很适合口味不重的人。

当初选择来这cafe用餐，不是因为他们的食物，而是那复古的deco，那每个角落都是回忆的设计。所以，一开始我还以为这是一间西餐厅后来看了menu才知道，fat spoon是娘惹菜为主的餐厅，哈哈！我就点了Steamed Chicken with Spicy Lime，觉得味道很不错。其实那天没有太欣赏美食，因为心机都放在拍照上！适合gathering因为可以拍很多照片！

记得以前小时候，朋友爸爸酿制的辣椒鱼肚我到至今也念念不忘。这里的鱼肚让我找回了以前童年的味道，虽然算不上一模一样，但是那复杂的香料味还是能唤起我一点点的记忆。既然肚子里塞满了香料，那鱼肉方面就比较少了。除了鱼肉，这里料理的份量基本都比较少。食量大的人要注意了。

我觉得喜欢吃重口味的朋友真的很适合来这里，因为我今晚吃到的料理都是味道浓郁，而且一点也不会觉得腻因为这里的饮料是很好的解腻圣品。这份spicy beef macoroni soup汤头鲜美，隐约还能喝到牛肉带出来的独特味道。通心粉里蕴藏了味美的汤汁，可惜如果再辣一点就完美了。
