My friend recommends me to try this curry mee. I totally fall in love with this dishes because their soup is too nice and not really spicy. The curry soup is not a normal curry soup, maybe this is their secret recipe which makes their soup becomes special. The type of mee they use to put in the curry soup is wantan mee, quite special and i like it. The char siew and roasted pork are just too nice. You can choose on what to add on to your curry mee as well.

Came here for breakfast. I ordered a chicken wantan noodles and leung sui for drinks.The noodles was very Q and chewy, and it mixed evenly with the sauce. The wan tan meat very fresh and the skin also very soft, every to swallow.The chicken also very tender and not salty.For the leung sui, it taste abit sweet but ok.Overall, quite satisfy with the food and drinks here.

这里的云吞面卖相看起来就是颜色是比较浅的。不过并不代表没有什么味道。面条没有那种硷水的味道。吃起来都很顺口。叉烧真的很好吃,油脂立刻溶在嘴巴里面。让人忍不住一口接一口。

这里的咖喱面简直就是一绝。那个咖喱汤头真的非常实在诱人。喝下去一点都不会觉得很虚假,而是真实熬煮出来的汤头。里面的还加入了这里很出名的叉烧,那个siham也是煮到刚刚好。

这里的云吞面对我来说还好,虽然他们的面有达到我的标准,就是不可以煮得太软,因为如果面煮得太软的话就完全不好吃而且有点geli了,只是他们的云吞我觉得不好,因为只是吃到较多的猪肉和面粉,没什么吃到虾肉。

虽然我不晓得为何这档口会叫做槟城碟仔饭,因为据我所知,槟城并没有因为碟子仔而出名,我点了个泰式鸡肉饭,泰式鸡肉就是用泰式酱来炸那些鸡肉块,再配以先前腌制好的青瓜丝以及一些芒果丝,酸酸甜甜的很开胃。

Wantan mee. The wantan mee came with a bowl of wantan soup and a roll of char siew. The char siew was made of more lean meat than fats. The caramelized skin was being burnt at the edges which was aromatic, but the edges were a tad too burnt. The meat was soft and tender, sweet and not too salty. The wantan was nicely wrapped and minced meat was slightly salty. The wantan mee was bland.

One of my favorite hawker food is Cantonese Fried. I like the way it was prepared, with lots of gluey sauce. This stall in Restoran Shang Yi Fatt was quite nice. My cantonese fried hor fun was nicely done. Love the sauce to the max. The sauce was well seasoned, and the consistency of the sauce was neither too thick nor too thin. The char siew was re-heated in their mini-oven before serving to their customers. The char siew side was nicely charred and caramelized, very sweet and tender. The cockles were fresh. The wantan mee was springy and no alkaline taste. The curry broth was thick, spicy and flavourful although I tasted the absence of santan.

The hot Milo was quite thick. When it was served, there was still a lot of Milo powder floating on top. I have to stir quite long to dissolve the milo. Of course, I preferred my Milo like this, strong with milo taste and not really sweet, just nice. The coffee was hot and quite thick too, very aromatic of coffee flavour, sweet and bitter at the same time. I love how they served hot drinks in the traditional design cup and plates.

The fish paste noodle consisted of fish paste, seaweed, fu chuk and sprinkled with spring onions. I ordered the loh shue fun and it was not being boiled fully, some loh shue fun were hard. It turned off my appetite. I could not finish it. The fish paste were thin. Although it has no fishy taste, it does not have the springy texture, it was soft, and slight salty. The fu chuk was quite tough too. The seaweed was soggy and salty. The broth was plain taste, nothing to shout about.

restoran shang yi fatt is located at sunway mas commercial centre.It's somewhere at kota damansara.There are so many different types of food stall inside this restoran shang yi fatt and this wantan mee is one of it.This is the dry wantan mee.Very nice i would say.The wantan mee is so tasty.The texture of this wantan mee is so springy and not too soft.It's not overcook and not chewy.The sauce is quite tasty and really match with the wantan mee.So much ingredients and the ingredients are all fresh

This is the dry wantan mee.Very nice i would say.The wantan mee is so tasty.The texture of this wantan mee is so springy and not too soft.It's not overcook and not chewy.The sauce is quite tasty and really match with the wantan mee.So much ingredients and the ingredients are all fresh.Like the cha siew so much.So tasty and juicy.

I am not kidding, it was that good. The texture of wan tan mee was very chewy and bouncy. Perfect texture to go with the curry, which tasted slightly sourish. I kind of like the sourish taste in my curry as it made it so appetizing. Better thing was the fried wan tan, char siew loaded the bowl of noodle with superb generosity. I could assure you the ratio of noodle to side dishes was 1:1. Double thumbs up!

I'm usually not a fan of curry noodles - because the curry is usually greasier than it is flavourful, and has little else to offer; but once I tried the curry mee here, I was converted.

I would say this has to be THE BEST curry noodles anywhere (there are different types of curry noodles, so I'm referring to this particular type).

The curry is hot and full of spice flavours, and also moderately spicy. Fried wantons (3 per serving) are crispy, even after sitting in the curry for a while (they soak it up very well, adding to the flavour) - the juicy pork filling is generous. The char siew is chunky and roasty (as opposed to silky and sweet), and it is served with cockles (optional), bean sprouts, long beans, and mint leaves (some would consider this a garnish but it's one of the major ingredients for me - balances out the curry taste). The noodles itself are curly and springy - gives it a bit of a chew (which I think works for this curry mee).

Portions are generous and would satisfy very well especially on a stormy morning. If I'm not mistaken, they don't open past lunch.
