My favourite wantan mee stall recently shifted across the street from one kopitiam (747/SFS) to another. Over the many years that I've been eating wantan noodles at this stall (perhaps this explains the mystery of my increasing waist-line), little has changed. My favourite wantan mee stall recently shifted across the street from one kopitiam (747/SFS) to another. Over the many years that I've been eating wantan noodles at this stall (perhaps this explains the mystery of my increasing waist-line), little has changed.

The price was RM4 when other places were already selling at RM4.50 per serving, though it eventually caught up and is now priced at RM4.50; which is on par with other places. In terms of serving size, their wantan mee is far superior. 3 large slurpy wantans that are full of meat, unlike other places that have just thick wantan skin and little else. There is an option for the fried variety upon request, but I like mine slurpy. Char siew is generally chunky and smokey, as opposed to the more gooey sweet type you might find at other famous char siew places.

I also like the chilli paste condiment that goes very well with the sweet oil-based sauce that bathes the springy wavy noodles.

Only thing I dislike is that on a busy morning, you'll have to endure quite a wait before you get your order.
