I believe, in every Japanese restaurant possible, there will always be cawanmushi on the menu. Its almost impossible for one to neglect the existence of the smooth and eggy cawanmushi. Everyone loves cawanmushi. Anyway, the cawanmushi prepared by Sushi Zanmai was pretty decent as well. It was smooth, but not the smoothest I've tried and it was flavourful. There were chicken, mushrooms and rice cake inside the cawanmushi. Overall, its a decent flavoured cawanmushi.

One of the signature dish of a Japanese Restaurant, the Soft Shell Crab. It could possibly be one of the priciest dish on the menu in terms of portion to price ratio. The soft shell crab was really crisp on the outside whilst maintaning its softness and moisture inside. The soft shell crab also had a slightly salted skin. Overall, it was a very satisfying dish and I could not help but crave for more.

Sushi Zanmai is a Conveyor-belt Sushi Restaurant where the prepared sushi is put on the conveyor belt just located beside the table. Once you find the sushi you want, just take from the conveyor bely and enjoy the sushi, very convenience. But not every table is located beside the conveyor belt. Colour plate starts from RM1.80. I have ordered Inari, Tamago Mentai (basic Tamago sushi topped with mayonnaise and slightly burned ) and Cranky Salmon Maki. Personally, I like the Tamago Mentai very much

They provide more than 100 assortments of sushi and 100 varieties of cooked food that are authentically Japanese. I have ordered Tsukimi Soba ( Soba Soup with Egg). The soup is not so oily, the soba is very stringy. Beside egg, there are some veggie inside. Overall, the dish is delicious and worth the money.

I have ordered Chicken Kaarage Don ( Fried Chicken & Onion on Rice). The chicken is crispy and sauce mixed together with the rice made the whole dish

sushi zanmai provide the comfy place and this simple restaurant is good to dine in with family and cozy environment of this restaurant. the service is average here and can be improve more too i guess . peaceful enough and good place to chill out. and i like the green tea here served also with the noodle i like the most is the soba here the soup is very tasty and i like the ingredients very healhty

nice sushi here served at the sushi zanmai. the impression is there and when i waited for my seats they will ask how many person and do i like to sit at the counter belt or the sofa seating choices. the sushi is nice and the sushi with the salmon and eell is the best choices and and every pieces of the sushi is all so delicious. the chef here is good prepare the sushi with cleaniness

here i came to sushi zanmai and i saw the long queue in front and as usual i need to wait form my turn . worth queueing up for the seats as i like the sushi here. fresh made from the chef it self standing in front of the counter and i get this 5 pieces of the avocado sushi with the ebiko on top of the sushi. delicious and i like the seat arrangement here, well maintained and impressive

Ebiko Beancurd. After finishing what we had ordered, I still felt like I have some space for my stomach. So, I added on the cheaper sushi - ebiko beancurd. There amount of ebiko on top of the sushi was a lot, it fully covered the surface of the sushi. The beancurd was not too thin and it was sweet. The ebiko has some crunchy texture when I ate the whole thing in one shot.

Egg Sushi Mentai. Ever since I tried mentai sushi 2 years ago, I have fell in love with mentai ever since especially the ones that are grilled. This egg sushi mentai was a simple one: sushi, seeweed, egg and topped with mentai. the mentai was not grilled but it has the strong mentai taste, very aromatic. The egg was sweet while the seaweed was slightly salty. Overall, it was good.

Honey and Corn Parfait. After our main meal, we ordered the dessert - honey and corn parfait. This parfait came in a few distinctive layers. The layers were ice cream, sweet corns, corn flakes, chocolate crumbs together with honey. This parfait was sweet due to the ice cream and sweet corns. The chocolate crumbs gave another taste to the whole parfait. Overall, it was delightful.

Chawanmushi. Sushi Zanmai always have long queue during peak dining hours. Luckily that night, we came slightly earlier, thus we managed to get a place in less than 10 minutes. We were happily being ushered to our table. Sushi Zanmai's version consisted of mushrooms, naruto, and chicken slices. The chawanmushi has the right amount of saltiness and it was smooth.

I have this habit of trying out salmon sashimi sushi in most of the Japanese restaurant or buffet. These two salmon sashimi sushi in Sushi Zanmai are alright. However, the salmon slices there are not thick. Freshness wise it is fresh. Services in this outlet in Paradigm has a better services. The staffs care for what you need and always served with a smile. Overall ok for a commercial Jap Restaurant.

I was craving for curry where we came across Sushi Zanmai in Paradigm mall and decided to dine in to kill my curry crave. Ordered japanese curry katsu rice. The curry katsu rice served with fried chicken (katsu) topped with japanese curry gravy and sprinkled with pickled ginger on top, it was alright in term of the taste of curry gravy. But I would admit that I did felt so disappointment that my curry rice was without potatoes and carrot in the curry gravy. I always get to eat potatoes and carro

Sushi Zanmai in Paradigm mall is always crowded with long queue. However, there was a night I was there with lesser crowd and there I went in for a dinner before headed home. THIS IS MUST ORDERED sushi! I love how the mayonaise been smoked on top of the squid slice. It tasted heaven! The smoked mayonaise was nice and tasty, it is a combination of sweet and salty. I like it.
