Several years ago, Delicious Cafe was my go-to place for good food that is somewhat affordable and also a nice place to enjoy a meal. However recently I found that the change in management resulted in a lot of changes, particularly the menu, price and also quality. This cafe located inside Bangsar Village Supermarket and serve Western as well as local menus, from breakfast till late supper. The price is expensive but the dishes will never fail your taste bud. I tried Braised Lamb Shank (comes with rosemary yorkshire and roasted vegie). As for local cuisine I tried Green curry (with Kaffir rice and pamelo salad) ordered by my friend. Both dishes is excellent. There is variety of dessert too from cakes (red velvet, choc cake), brownies, pies and muffins.

Sometimes when I feel like want to have something healthy but not totally healthy at all, I will think of delicious. Their chicken is something bring balance to the force of the greeny salad. The salad is very crispy. Because all are vegetables. Then the chicken is tender to eat it. The salad sauce has some sweet taste in it which I do like it a lot. Sometimes eat something green is good for body.

Returned to Delicious a few days later, but at Bangsar Village this time, to check out their ice cream, including the bubble gum and haw flakes flavours . Mascarpone & figs, Earl Grey and Horlicks flavours. Could have been creamier. Original Margarita (tequila, triple sec, fresh lime) & Cocolicious Martini (bailey's, espresso, vanilla ice cream, coffee beans). Milky cocktails: Dude & the Duchess (bailey's, kahlua, tia maria, chocolate syrup), with Kisses & Misses (bailey's, frangelico).

Environment: What is there to talk about Delicious’s environment. Everyone knows its comfortable, casual yet upscale. I shall proceed on commenting about the food.Food: Delicious afternoon tea set is an impressive 3-tier array of eye pleasing mulessus. Each tea set comes with two cups of either tea or coffee with a biscuit at the side. Went to Delicious Café to have our quick lunch and when we flip throughout the menu we spotted that they are offering some new dishes. So we order it and try out!Pumpkim risotto (RM25.90) seafood taste fresh and the smel of cheese taste are strong; you really can taste the sweetness out of the pumpkin.Harrisa Parmigiano Baked Eggplant (RM22.90) It taste super salty and it is full of eggplant. Chicken Avocado Sandwich (RM21.90). The sandwich came with big chunks of chicken meat coated with mayonaise sauce, on top of a piece of cabbage and a piece of thick bread. Not to mention a big piece of avocado cream was on top of it as well. It is a healthy dish.Cheese Burger (RM24.90). The beef patty was thick and juicy, and slightly burnt. I specially like the onion on top of the cheeser.

Delicious cafe serves sandwiches which is good for sharing too. This small plate of sandwiches has three variety in it. One with cucumber, one with scrambled eggs and one with smoked salmon. I would say that the one with cucumber as filling is too ordinary but still, it is refreshing if you take it during hi tea. The one with scrambled egg filled in it is not bad, the eggs are cooked to a nice texture. I like the one with smoked salmon the most, especially that the salmon is fresh. Something ide

Delicious cafe's duck confetti is being served in this small cup which is very crispy. However, I think that the cup is a bit oily. The filling which is the main character is okay. I would say that the duck confetti is nothing too fancy, I expected something more refreshing from it. However, the taste of it is not bad as it is not too salty or too bland. Overall, I would say that it delight the eyes more than the taste buds.

For their hi tea, you can get their butter cookies too. Their butter cookies is a bit salty, or perhaps too salty for me I think. They added in some herbs so overall, I would say that it is still quite special. However, for me I think that it must go with tea, or else it would be a bit too oily for me. The texture of the cookies is soft so you do not expect something crunchy from it. I do not really like it but you can still try it if you like cookies.

For their hi tea, you can have some scones too. Delicious cafe's scones are a bit dry, I think it would be nicer if it is moister. However, you can always spread some butter on it, which after that I would say that it tastes quite good. Also, they provide you with the fruit jam and also chocolate spread, which you can add to your scones. One thing about the chocolate spread is that it is too watery, so you have to be careful while spreading, it does not stick to your scones, at all.
