Turn Back Time! Golden aroma chicken set meal. It comes with two pieces of chicken, curly fries and a large root beer. I prefer the root beer without ice cream because i like the original taste. The curly fries was crispy and delicious compare to other fast food restaurant. As for the chicken, i ordered the spicy one, which they put chili powder on to the chicken, it was very spicy. This set cost RM11.65.

I never fail to order their waffle with butter and syrup each time I dine in this outlet. This outlet serves the best waffle compare to the other outlet I have tried. Their waffle is crispy and tasty. The texture was just nice. I always feel that the amount of butter given was not sufficient to spread for the whole waffle, unlike the maple syrup given was very generous.

a&w merupakan makanan kegemaran saya juga........pelbagai jenis makanan yang saya suka dan gemari di sini bermula dari burger dan juga onion ring......sejujurnya saya amat gemarkan sekali onion ring yang ada di sini.........ia cukup unik sekali...jarang saya dapat menikmatinya di tempat lain....selain itu,saya juga sukakannya kerana ia sama sekali tidak berminyak langsung..

For decades it has been acknowledged far and wide that A&W possibly has the best Root Beer around. In fact, I suspect they're possibly the first to come up with Root Beers because as far back as I can remember in my childhood years no one else did in other fast food outlets. What's more, their Root Beers are distinctively different from the pre-bottled ones found in supermarket - the taste is stronger, more intense. What's more.. it comes topped with an Ice Cream float. wheee...

Yaay...who doesn't love A&W's signature curly fries ? I totally love 'em. Have been completely crazy over them since young, and still does. Munching into a packet of Curly Fries at A&W certainly brings back many nostalgic memories. Aaah...I love how it's tasty (sprinkled with lots of MSG I bet ), crispy... and for fun I can wrap the curly fries around my fingers and just nimbles on 'em slowly while I people-watch in this particular outlet, which certainly has a very interesting crowd

Again, I thought A&W's Chicken Sandwich still lags slightly behind McDonald's version. It wasn't too bad though. Again, above average. Actually it's better than the Marina Fish Sandwich. The premium marinated chicken breast was tender and succulent; and coupled with fresh lettuce and a dose of chili sauce I thought it was pretty good! I do wish they remove the mayo though.. I'm not a very big fan of mayonaise sauce in the first place

My personal opinion is that I much preferred McDonald's Fish Burger; but on its' own without any comparison A&W"s version isn't really too bad either. The breaded fish patty; though isn't as tasty as how I would like it to be is above average. I love the cheddar cheese slice, fresh lettuce and special dill sauce though. Especially the dill sauce, I thought that it gives a whole new different taste to the otherwise just ordinary fish burger ^_^

I have always loved A&W's Chicken Coney Dogs since young. Heck, I used to think that it's the best hot dog around ^_^ Actually in some ways for me it still very much is. The chicken sausage/frank is savory and tasty. And when topped with specially marinated minced chicken, diced onions and A&W's signature coney sauce.. the result is certainly one heck of a delicious Hot Dog!

Chicken Sandwich. My dining partner could not take beef, so his options for burger is limited. He has also tried the fish burger which was not nice, so he ordered this chicken sandwich. Same as previous burger, the presentation looked a bit poor. The chicken was dry and lacked of taste. The mayonnaise did not help much. There was very little lettuce in it. Poorly done.

Waffle with ice cream (chocolate syrup). All along I will want my waffle with strawberry syrup, but that day I wanted to try the chocolate syrup, so I ordered waffle with double scoop ice cream with chocolate syrup. The waffle was thick and crispy on the outside. When I sliced it open, inside was thick, moist and soft too. The chocolate syrup gave the whole dish an additional sweet flavour.

Coney Dog (chicken). I was not aware that A&W has started to serve chicken coney dog, maybe I didn't eat it for a very long time. So I ordered it for me to give it a try. The bun was so dry and tough and I don't enjoy eating the bun. The sausage was a normal one, nothing to shout about. The coney dog gravy was filled with onions, which was quite salty. It still does not taste as nice as the beef version.

Wafer and ice-cream goes well together and this is a fine testament from one of the longest serving places of this delightful dessert. Each wafer served comes with a scoop or two of vanilla ice-cream and drenched with strawberry syrup. The wafer is still pipping hot when served and this helps in melting the ice-cream. One of my must orders whenever I dined at A & W.

Apart from being well known for serving great root beer, A & W is also famous for their curly fries. McDonalds do happen to sell curly fries but only during festive periods such as Chinese New Year which is only a certain period once a year. The curly fries from A & W have a deep golden brown colour and assorted spices to enhance the taste of the potato. It is more addictive than normal fries and I can finish a whole packet of the fries myself.

This fast food outlet is getting rarer over the years as many old watering spots have closed down. Although you can still find their famous root beer in sundry shops and shopping malls, I still prefer their root beer from the tap rather than the canned stuff. The root beer from the tap has less gas and much sweeter than what you get canned drinks. Sometimes I would order mine with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or two to enhance the root beer taste.
