生平第一次吃洋葱圈都是在这里吧。因为我相信很多八十后的童年这里都会占一席位。这里的洋葱圈吃起来都没有什么洋葱的味道，都是外皮酥脆，内里软软的。外表也是炸到很美。

还记得以前来到这里除了吃热狗，还会叫这里的威化饼。可是吃下去过后却让我失望了。因为再也不是那种很脆很松软的感觉了。这里的一点都不脆而且里面海软到不得了。整个和以前就很大差别。

几乎都忘了以前来到这里一定要点上一份Coney Dogs。上面都有大量的酱还有很香的洋葱碎。不过要有心理准备因为吃的过程是有一点狼狈的。因为里面的东西都会东歪西倒。香肠蛮大的，不够肉质不够脆还有多汁。

A&W is among one of the pioneers of fast food in Malaysia. It is quite sad to see that many of their outlets have closed down since their heydays in the 80s and 90s. I have to say, amongst all the A&W outlets, this drive-thru at Persiaran Barat PJ is my all time favorite! Although now it's a bit rundown (looks like they haven't done any renovations or refurbishments in years!) this place still gives me a very nice and cosy neighborhood eatery vibe everytime I visit. Fried chicken. As I do not much fancy A&W burgers that day, I opted for fried chicken instead. I wanted drumstick but the staff said that I need to wait 10 minutes, I did not wait and got whichever part of the chicken was available at that time. The skin was not too crispy, and slightly salty. The meat was tender though. Not much seasonings used in the deep fried batter. A very normal dish.

Root beer. I could not not ordering a root beer when I stepped into A&W. As I ordered waffle with ice cream already, I did not add on a scoop of vanilla ice cream into my root beer, scare that I too jelak because of too much ice cream. The root bear was poured into a cold glass, it was not too gassy. It was sweet and full of root beer taste. This is definitely much better than coke.

French fries. Normally when I walk into A&W, I will definitely order the curly fries, but that day I decided to have a change. I ordered the normal french fries. The fries were slightly thicker cut than its competitors. Although A&W version not as soft as its competitors, I am fine with the texture. The fries were still crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Curly fries. Well, I would say that A&W was the first one who introduced curly fries in the early days. The curly fries were thin and deep fried till golden brown. The coating was very crispy and I think they added some black pepper in the coating to add some peppery taste to it. The inner potato was soft. Overall, it was slightly salty but when dipped with chili sauce, it was great.

Waffle with double scoop of ice cream. The waffle was ready made and upon order, they will reheat it again using the waffle pan. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The batter was quite thick. I added two scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with strawberry syrup. The syrup was thick and sweet. With the coldness of the ice cream and the hotness of the waffle, it was a great combination.

平时吃的快餐都是kfc,麦当劳。今天想换一下不同口味的快餐，所以来到了A&W这个地方。早前这间餐厅是因为他超好喝的root beer汽水而著名。到现在这里的饮料一样好喝，而且无人能比拚。这里出了名的root beer不会太多气，带点甜味。和一般的汽水有着特别的香气。尤其是加上一颗小雪糕，味道更佳。由于是周六，所以套餐都没有特价。平时午餐大约只是6-7零吉，还包含一份饮料。我点了一个炸鸡汉堡包。然后把套餐原来包含的薯条换成了比较特别的卷薯条，curl fries. 汉堡包内的炸鸡非常香脆，只可惜分量有点少。这里的薯条呢，非常好吃。与一般的薯条味道不一样，而且没有添加任何的盐，薯条本身就很入味了。由于是假日所以价钱有点昂贵，但一样有很多人光顾。是一个不错的快餐店。

Persamaan di antara A&W dan KFC ialah kedua-duanya menghidangkan ayam goreng sebagai menu utama mereka. Namun apa yang membezakannya ialah rasa ayam gorengnya. Pada saya, ayam goreng di A&W lebih garing dan sedap (sori ya KFC fans semua..haha) Kenapa? Kerana crustnya lebih garing dan nipis. Rasa minyak juga agak kurang terasa dan paling penting, walaupun crust nipis, namun rasanya tetap terasa sampai ke dagingnya. Antara menu lain yang sering membuatkan A&W lebih menjadi pilihan ialah onion ring

I know i know - all A&W food are the same right? Wrong! well i meant the waffles atleastEvery other waffles in other A&W - soggy, not crispy, sometimes undercooked, sometimes overcooked (then thrown 3-4 times a way i've seen that many times over)Here they make it just nice - though QC definitely has to be maintained. A kid would surely love this. It is a combo of two evils, ie ice cream and rootbeer. Sweet and sweeter! I do casually enjoy it too. The taste of vanilla ice cream gave way that it was of the lower quality. It was less dense and more gaseous (somehow it just disappeared faster). The root beer was gassy and sweet! Goodness, I found myself having hard time finishing it because of the tonnes of sugar I could probably consume. In the end, I left some but it was good to have it once in awhile. I shoul
