Fettuccine Salmon & Parmesan RM14.90 – One of the must try! Portion is good, with a generous slice of salmon. Sauce is excellent here – thick and smooth. Well priced as well, it tasted as good as the more famous pasta places out there (and even better).
Spaghetti Seafood Carbonara RM13.90 – Dived in the smooth and thick sauce just like the fettuccine, the clamps tasted superb with garlic butter and olive oil.
Penne Cordon Bleu RM12.90 – Crispy from the outside, and juicy inside! Ham stuffed fried chicken with cheese, topped on penne with tomato puree. Another great plate that worth every penny.
Pommes Frites has had lots of media attention, but is the hype justified?
The mussels cooked with mushrooms, shallots, garlic, parsley, butter, cream and white wine were satisfactory but unremarkable.
The pumpkin fries were crisp & piping hot. Not bad for snacking. We tried the "samurai" dip, containing sambal, egg yolk & olive oil, and the chocolate dip. Both went well with the fries.
The Belgian fries were too oily. Tasted like thin versions of KFC's potato wedges.
Belgium fries (regular) with BBQ dipping sauce. They have more than 25 varieties of dipping sauce. The belgium fries were fried together with the skin. The potatoes were peel, cut and fry when we ordered, very fresh and no frozen taste. The fries were thick and soft in texture, and were slightly salty due to the sprinkles of salt. The BBQ sauce was fragrant and full of BBQ flavour.
I chose salad coz I need some greens in my meal. Luckilly we took the salad because the thousand island tasted great! It was really a good formula from the bistro itself. The vegetables were fresh too. Just can't have enough of it.
The clam pot came with lots of extremly big oyster mushroom and button mushroom in creamy sauce (you can opt for without cream sauce if you do not fancy creamy). And 20+ big clams, very fresh! The sauce was creamy and so additive until we finished till the last scoop of it.
Creamy chicken fettucini. The dish came with lots of marinated chicken pieces of top of the fettucini. The sauce was not too thick, just nice. The chicken pieces were tender but were very salty as it was marinated with lots of herbs. So, we have to eat the chicken together with the fettucini. And it was a great combination though.
he mushroom soup never fail to disappoint us, it was very creamy and thick, not the normal mushroom soup taken from Campbell's tin. I wish they could give bigger portion though.
Roast Chicken set (RM21.90). The chicken was salty. I think all Italian style pasta / roast chicken are salty due to the amount of herbs they put in.
Clam Pot - Large (RM21.90). We chose the tomyam as base. The clams came with boiling hot tomyam soup. Big clams and big mushrooms. The soup was spicy but not sour enough. Despite that, the amount of clams were a lot, say 20-30 pieces of clams.
Garlic Bread (RM6). I ordered one portion of garlic bread. Little did I know that it came with some fries too. The garlic bread was crispy, not too garlicky, just nice. The fries come with the standard mayo sauce.
This is the french fries with meat sauce.Very nice i would say.The french fries is so crispy outside and soft inside.It's quite fresh and quite match with the sauce.The meat sauce is so meaty and tasty.It's full with the tomato sauce and quite cheesy.Overall, we quite like this fries.You can also try out their western food in their menu.Their pasta is quite nice too.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio Seafood is reasonably priced at RM 11.90. Containing garlic, chilli flakes, prawns, squid & clams, this pasta would deter vampires! The seafood here is fresh and clean. The one in the photo is already with additional RM 4 worth of prawns (4 prawns instead of 2) so this plate was RM 15.90. The ingredients were well combined, giving satisfaction to our tummies. The chef was not stingy with the portion and amount of seafood tossed in either.
They also have cream based pastas, baked pastas and vegetarian pastas. Based on the quality of my previous meals, I would love to try the others.
I would say it's in a more quiet side of Asian Avenue, located next to the windows overlooking Sunway Lagoon. Service is alright.. Waiters are attentive enough. Never had to call twice.
