i was surprised to see this spring roll in the menu because it is more like vietnamese spring roll with loads of vegetables and rather bland

At first, you may thought this is probably just some random restaurant sell express food. But after i first visit, point of view totally changed. They actually serving fine Thai-food with medium pay rate. Full house especially lunch time because really over-cheap lunch set provided with free-flow pandai juice!! So far i've tried Tomyam soup (thick type ), vege salad with at least 8 kind of veges, marryland chicken chop. Also the dessert called 'Red Ruby' taste really good!! Go have a try!!!

这里用的都是比较有营养的糙米,他们把饭压得紧紧的一个小碗的型状,可是掰开来份量却非常多。很喜欢这道菜肴,咖喱不会太辣,适合不太能吃辣又想要吃的人。咖喱颜色非常的漂亮,里面有鸡丁,长豆,荔枝等,还有足够的椰浆味。只是咖喱里的矮瓜太硬了不好吃。一起的来的芒果丝也酸酸辣辣的非常开胃!

非常大份的一份食物,有一块超大块的maryland炸鸡,喜欢maryland的人看见会超开心。炸鸡粉并不会多,鸡也不会太瘦而导致炸鸡块太过干。口感非常的脆,一点都不会硬。而且还可以选择Panaang curry或者是green curry两种鹵。相信很多男生都会喜欢这道食物。

不能吃辣的人千万就别点这一道菜了。它的味道非常香浓。肉味也非常鲜,附有嚼劲,可是就是太辣了!肉是用大量的辣椒碎和辣椒叶来炒的。火候非常够,非常的开胃。越吃就越辣,对与不太能吃辣的我就有点辛苦了

Crunch crunch, munch munch; these platters were part of a recent meal for friends and family. My Elephant at Aman Suria might open either Tuesday or Wednesday this week.

This is the new branch opened recently. I have been here for dinner but this time I was here for lunch with my fellow colleagues. Green curry was something that I would be attracted to, which explained why I was having that instead of others. The price is pretty value for money as well; it came with watermelon which was quite sweet, some pickled vegetables as side dish which was appetizing and not too strong (ie sour), a glass of drinks which was quite sweet and smooth on tongue (I love it actua

The curry was more oily than I would like it to be but fear not, it was very fragrant with lemongrass and curry leaves. Greedy me enjoyed scooping it to soak up my brown rice (yes, they serve brown rice which is a plus point!) and have it with some pickle or chicken. The amount of chicken in it was roughly 3-4 decent size chicken chunks, tenderly cooked and blended well with the curry.

All in all, it was good and value for money. Perhaps you should give it a try during your carbo day


However do note that one of my colleagues had to wait for 30 min or so for his chicken maryland due to mistake made by the staff and ended up he had to rush through his lunch. At least they should compensate him for waiting!

When I walked in alone, I was pre-empted that their menu is mostly tailored for group dining except lunch; but it wasn't in a way that was trying to make me feel unwelcome.After taking to my (very nice looking) table, I proceeded to order my dinner, without drinks (I usually don't order drinks). Despite ordering only 2 items amounting to about RM20, they served me a complimentary drink which is priced at about a third of my bill. Very gracious ser

My order of pad kha pau (minced chicken with thai basil leaves) was nice and spicy, loaded with plenty of thai basil leaves, and just enough minced chicken to pass. The chicken was moist, but the dish itself lacked the gravy I needed to eat my meal comfortably with... though I managed nevertheless. Flavours were good though.

I love a good tom yum on a rainy day. Unfortunately, it wasn't raining when I had the tom yum at My Elephant. However I wouldn't cite that as the reason why I didn't enjoy it very much. Flavour-wise, it was intensely sour (rightfully and pleasantly so), but the spiciness is too weak for me, making it more sour than it is spicy. My real gripe is that besides the tomatoes (which were very soft and sweetened from cooking) and not-enough chicken (which tasted kinda boring), there was nothing much el

Flavour-wise, it was intensely sour (rightfully and pleasantly so), but the spiciness is too weak for me, making it more sour than it is spicy.

My real gripe is that besides the tomatoes (which were very soft and sweetened from cooking) and not-enough chicken (which tasted kinda boring), there was nothing much else real edible. It was pretty much just pieces of lemongrass stalk everywhere, making it too frustrating to get to what little onions were in the soup.

Very pleased with the brown and jasmine rice (brown jasmine rice?) that is free-flow at a fixed price of RM3 per pax (which I think is pretty cheap). Rice is coarse, but that's how brown rice is and I love it that way.

The description on the menu states : Thai Style Egg Foo Yong with Assorted Vegetables, Fresh Herbs and Minced Prawn. It was very complicated from the first glance, and it tasted so too! The prawns weren't fresh and overcooked. Too much basil to my liking as well. It did not taste as eggy due to the complexity of the ingredients. In fact, the texture was similar to pancake

First time I tried mieang kam, I really loved it. However, My Elephant's mieang kam was pretty weak. I understand that the type of sauce is variable, but I found this syrup sauce way too thick and just stuck to the spoon - I couldn't get much on the leaf without wiping it off with the leave like tissue. I didn't like the sweetness of the sauce - I prefer the fish-base sauce which I tried elsewhere.The other ingredients - peanuts, dried shrimp, ginger, onions, fried coconut, cili padi and kaffir

The omelette was decent though nothing I'd write home about. Shrimp was fresh and plump, and I loved the generous amounts of basil leaves - it gave a very mild spicy aftertaste, but not really spicy; sort of like between mint and curry leaves.

This was none other than the watermelon juice! Simple but expensive. The sweetness was alright. I could tell that at least no sugar being added but again, it was just simple watermelon juice from a big water tank. It was chilled, at least. As you can see it was very frothy due to the juicing process. However, I would like it to be less frothy and perhaps be more generous with the juice. Perhaps they should add some lemon or herb inside to spice it up. It was so boring...

This is one of the three expensive cooler and smoothies. The name was very interesting, and I wondered how Thai special watermelon should taste like. In the end I was disappointed as it did not taste watermelon at all. It tasted more like syrup.Inside the drink you can find "tadpoles" that provides you the sourish taste as you break it in your tongue. Fancy but not nice still.

Mieang Kum is the traditional appetizer in Thai restaurants. The mieang kum here is made of DIY daun kadok wraps with coconut crisps, peanuts, dried shrimp and assorted condiments topped with sweet sour tamarind plum sauce. The presentation was good but not very thoughtful. When I scooped the condiments, it would accidentally mix with other condiments, resulting in a messy platter. Tom yum is one of the must try whenever you land in a Thai restaurant. It was my first time being in My Elephant, which was after hearing many good things about it. You could choose to go with chicken or seafood or fish. I opted for chicken and that was our protein for the night. The soup was very good. It was slightly light texture but the taste was fantastic. The only thing I disliked was the fact they put too much chopped lemongrass in the soup. They could have just scoop or filter it out but
