Mieang Kum is the traditional appetizer in Thai restaurants. The mieang kum here is made of DIY daun kadok wraps with coconut crisps, peanuts, dried shrimp and assorted condiments topped with sweet sour tamarind plum sauce. The presentation was good but not very thoughtful. When I scooped the condiments, it would accidentally mix with other condiments, resulting in a messy platter. I prefer Rama V's sauce. The tamarind plum sauce was too sweet to my liking. It made the whole appetizer boring as it was sweet mainly and lack of character.
