chu cheung fun with char siew Smile Sep 16, 2013

Last weekend, we have decided to give this new restaurant in Kuchai Avenue a try. Most of the shop at Kuchai Avenue is still vacant but this restaurant is bustling with peoples.

Their menu is very reasonably priced. Their chu cheung fun is overloaded with char siew wrapped in really thin noodle. For Char Siew lover, you must be loving in this dish.

Overall, their dim sum is quite good and I would definately come back again.

dinner @ ming tien OK Sep 13, 2013   (Related Review)

Categories : Chinese | Food court | Noodles

Yesterday, Me and my friends went to Ming Tien food court for dinner. When we reached there, really really a lot of people. Hard to find seats.

While Ming Tien is officially open throughout the day, the best time to go is when most of the stalls are open for dinner, from 6.00pm to 12.00am. With a welcoming ambiance and warm lighting, this is a great place to dine and have a social gathering without having to splurge. It’s also an ideal place for tourists to sample various local favourite.

yin yong @ wong kok OK Sep 12, 2013

I went to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng for a meal after my shopping this time. I love to drink yin yong here. It taste good.

I would also like to recommend: Fried Ramen (Noodles) with Pork which cost around RM10.00
This is worth it as the serving is large. I love this as well because of the sauce which
goes well with the noodles and cabbage.

The noodles is not too wet and soggy and it is well cooked with generous amount of ingredients.

Toast OK Sep 12, 2013

In Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, there have variety of food for you to choose. Personally, i like the Toast here and also Cheese Baked Spaghetti with Portuguese Sauce and Pork Chop.

Original milk tea in Hong Kong style which cost around RM5.50. This is so good because it's served without ice in the drink, rather the drink is kept cold by putting it in a bowl filled with ice. You get the fully concentrated version of the milk tea. One the signature drinks they are serving.

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice Smile Sep 11, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Seafood | Ramen/Udon/Soba

Located on the 3rd floor of The Gardens, Hokkaido Ichiba is not unknown among the Japanese-food lovers. The place is always crowded espcially during peak hours.

My favourite here is Chicken Katsu Curry Rice which cost around RM23. The curry was warm and sizzling when it arrived, very apetizing indeed. The fried chicken was a bit on the fat side but the meat was tender and sweet overall. I would recommend this.

Overall, Hokkiado Ichiba really does find a niche in this pretty saturated Japanese restaurant market. The food is pretty good, prices reasonable.
