1990年，Sri Ananda Bahwan一开始是在Butterworth起步。如今多达14家的店面已涵盖大马和印度。而我们光顾的这间就位于Macalister Road，也就是德教会紫云阁对面。路过好多次，外面看来气氛不错，今晚总算可以一窥究竟。步入里面的感觉，比较像是走进一个食堂里面。受到不同种族的青睐，只见座上客从印度人、华人到外国人都有。据说有南北印度咖喱之分，北印度咖喱较温和而南印度的咖喱较辛辣。吃不惯辣咖喱者可选择Menu里的北印度咖喱菜色。耳熟能详的Roti Canai被列为印度煎饼，Naan则被列为印度人的烤饼之一。Naan的饼皮较厚，较贴近面包的口感，一般就配着咖喱酱和薄荷青酱吃，味道还不错。Tosai吃起来较像apom的口感，一般会配上椰子酸辣酱(Coconut Chutney)和其它咖喱酱等蘸着吃。喜欢这盘印度咖喱鸡肉面的味道，主要是由腰果、杏仁和洋葱组成的咖喱浓汁，依稀记得是带有甜咸味的咖喱，反正好吃就是了。三合一咖喱鱼头指的是鱼、虾和乌贼。肉的份量并不会很大份，很可惜，这份咖喱鱼头的味道不太合我们的口味。这道菠菜奶酪，听说是北印度菜出名的一道，味道吃起来很不错。印度奶酪马沙鸡拉算是这顿印度餐里最好吃的一道了，主要是由番茄汁和各种印度草药、香料等烹煮成。味道吃起来酸酸咸咸，香气浓，很好吃！印度香蕉叶饭，主要是由三种配菜（左为印度Acar、黄姜高丽菜丝和红甜酱豆腐等）和印度脆饼(Papadum)组成。右手边另有单点的另一款咖喱鸡-Chicken Perathal，咖喱味道感觉比较普通。

Once in a blue moon, I would dine here. I love to dine here but I don't do it often because the food here is very heaty. I had lunch here with my friend the other day. We were deciding on whether to go for the Lunch Promotion Set, which is RM 14.90 each or the Economy Pork Set which is RM 26.90. What I like here is that the prices shown in the menu are inclusive of GST and service charge, so we won't have a heart attack when we see the amount being charge for taxes and charges later on.So finally, we decided to order the Economy Pork Set because of its unlimited refill for cabbage. We refilled 3 times for the cabbage, and there were no extra charges. Besides that, we were entitled for 20% discount if we ordered the set.

We also add on a bowl of white rice which cost us RM 1 per bowl. I love to eat the BBQ sauce there, I find it very unique, tasty and appetising. We almost finished one bottle on our own.

In total, we only spent RM22.50 after discount, which was quite worth it as compared to the Lunch Set.
