This is my second visit to the restaurant, I decided to try the Kimchi Jigae set. Being served as a side dish for every table, the kimchi here is really good. Not too spicy or sour to spice up your buds. Anything that comes baked in a pot, means hearty food for me. The soup taste really nice, you can find lots of ingredients like tofu, clams and chicken inside.
Their staff are very nice and always ready to help! Thumbs up for them! The price is slightly higher as compared to another two Korean restaurant in SS15. However, the quality speaks for itself. Totally worth the try !

No Korean meal is complete without the kimchi. Kimchi served as side dish is popular and well known for the goodness of the fermentation and the nutrients in it. The kimchi here is pretty consistent. Served together with most main meals, there is the complimentary soup which isn’t all that great. I think the meal could still do with or without the soup. But I do like the egg inside the soup. At the end of the day, the soup adds a little moist to the meal.

Tuna bibimbap has got its own unique flavour although many would be more accustom to actual meat in the bibimbap. The truth is, it is also common to substitute with tuna when making bibimbap. Of course if you can’t take tuna, then you can forget about the tuna bibimbab because the tuna flavour is quite overpowering. Luckily, the sesame oil manage to balance the taste of tuna.

The Korean Street Cafe is one place that is perfect for non-halal Korean food lovers. The menu comprises of still some very authentic Korean dishes, but with a twist of the choice of ingredients. Because there is no pork served, pork is mainly replaced by other ingredients when making their dishes. The kimchi stew, did not have pork in it. Instead, it is tuna chunks to replace pork.

Pork is quite an important ingredient when it comes to Korean cusine, so what happens to halal Korean restaurants? KImchi stew? And all the BBQ? Well, how about no pork for BBQ, and replace pork with seafood? That’s whats happening in Korean street café. Apart from common Korean street snack, they mainly serve ‘on the go’ bentos. See their skewers and bento menus. But I wasn’t quite interested with those, because I practically could do that at home. Remember how I love the kimbab in Korean house

Remember how I love the kimbab in Korean house, this one becomes horrible after having the one here.

The entire seaweed roll was soaked in teriyaki sauce when served. I thought it could be them simply just trying too hard to be creative and innovative.

But I was wrong when I saw what’s inside the seaweed roll. Rice rolled with cucumber, egg, carrot, pickle, sausage, and the worst, the teriyaki sauce. Think soggy rice with crunchy texture from the cucumber, carrot and pickle with dulcified flavor from the sauce. And if you ask me, it does not taste anything like a kimbab. At least they tried, so I give them credits for that.

But their tuna salad is amazing. It has refreshing sensation from freshly cut zucchini, juicy corns, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, a pinch of sesame, and a generous amount of succulent white tuna.

The Street Café is a 2 storey restaurant at SS15. On the upper floor, I love the tatami seats for a more private dining experience. The cozy ambiance is enhanced with the warm dim lights and a whole 'street' decoration in the cafe. It's so comfortable that I'd wish to hang out there chatting for hours! The waiter from Myanmar has mixed the bowl of rice so professionally that each and every bit of rice has the taste of Kimchi. So fragrant and hot, I love the blend of flavours very much. It is a little sour and spicy, I love going mild in taste like this, thumbs up!

Attractive Tatami style dining experience in The Street Cafe. They have interesting "message leave on" on their wall. Based on the menu, it is interesting to have a street kind menu where it resembles the food you can find besides the street. Indeed, they serve different kind of Korean meal that are available in Korean cultures' daily life, especially those serve as quick meal in Korea. One of the bestBBQ Chicken Lunch Box, an after immediate busy life, i would definitely have this if im in a rush
