Chicken katsu or the breaded chicken is sakae sushi is very nice too. The succulent and juicy chicken was breaded and deep fried to golden brown. I like the chicken katsu for not being oily, and the chicken skin was slightly crisp. However, i do find that the chicken is slightly fatter than the way i like it. Underneath the breaded chicken skins are a layer of yellowish chicken fats that i don't appreciate.

Sakae chawanmushi is another favorite item i like to order. The chawanmushi has lots of ingredients in it and the steamed egg is really smooth and delicious. I love the shark fins in the chawanmushi, although i doubt it is real shark fin. There was also crabstick, straw mushroom, ginko, and chicken in the steamed egg. The chawanmushi is well seasoned, it will taste slightly salty.

Ika teriyaki, is the grilled squid with teriyaki sauce. I usually order this and managed to finish this on my own. I love the soft grilled squid very much. Even though the squid is grilled, the tecture of the squid remained soft and nice to chew without much efforts. The piece of squid will be cut into approximately five to six pieces and some teriyaki sauce will be brushed on it.

Kaisen Kamameshi is the assorted mixed seafood and musroom rice. The traditional dish is served in an iron pot. There assorted seafood are scalop, prawn, squid ring, abalone, octopus and salmon. The mushroom was the straw mushroom. The seafood were very fresh and tasted sweet and delicious. The kaisen kamameshi is really for any seafood lovers. The rice tasted great with the essence from the seafood.

I only come to appreciate cold noodle not very long ago. All the while i only preferred my noodles to be steaming hot. However, since the restaurant is air conditioned, i don't mind having a portion of cha soba. The cha soba is made from green tea wheat noodles. I love the mild flavor and taste of the green tea, it was very enticing. The cold sauce was light and fragrant. There is a raw quail egg.

The impressive Mizu set was really satisfying. Although priced at RM30.90, i think it is value for money. The Mizu set consists of soft shell crab cooked in spicy tofu sauce, salmon sahsimi, jelly fish, chawan mushi, miso soup and a bowl of rice. I think for this price, this set meal is really worth every penny. The soft shell crab cooked in the spicy tofu sauce was a charm. The crab and the sauce mixed so well. The crab was meaty too.

From the sushi conveyer belt, the jelly fish is easily spotted. The food on the conveyer belt is color coded with the color plates for different price. The jelly fish was very nice. It has a jelly texture, yet it was still crunchy. I love the sweet and spicy taste of the sauce. The sauce is very appetizing. The white sesame seeds added extra texture and flavors in the jelly fish cold dish.

At sakae sushi, their grill salmon was perfectly done. I like the salmon fish grilled with perfection. The salmon was fresh, not over grilled. The salmon was very juicy and some sweet teriyaki sauce was brushed on top of the salmon. The scalop proves to be very delicious too. Although the scallop was not very big, it was fresh. I love the sauce on top of the scallop. The sauce was very creamy.

When it comes to japanese food, i really like the japanese version of deep fried prawn. The prawn tempura does not make me feel guilty eating it. Although the prawn tempura is deep fried, however, it was not oily at all. The batter was light and fluffy. The batter was very mildly seasoned. The crunchy batter was delicious. The prawn was fresh, succulent and juicy.

The best part of this dish was definitely that EGG! It was perfectly timed to have a hardened exterior containing the half-boiled inside. I don't usually like egg yolk but this one had an amazing sweetness and it melted wonderfully in my mouth. Wish I could order the egg alone!
