This is my first time coming here. I was like so hungry after a whole morning of  seminar. I ordered a whole lot of Yong Tau Fu as I went crazy whenever I saw a lot of different varieties. I ordered the soup full of such delicious soft brinjals, fishballs, tofu, foo chuk, and so many fresh fat light green coloured ladies fingers. It was amazing that the ladies fingers were so young, fresh and soft especially since KL is famous for selling very old ladies fingers. I wonder whether they got their stock straight from the vegetable seller or supplier.

It was my first time trying soup version of foo chuk.

The sui kow was served separately with mani leaves. The sui kow should be given a miss as it was split open when it arrived.

The salty black chicken drumstick was quite ok despite being a bit salty.

I ordered the Umbra / Kedondong juice which was very fresh and tasty.

I let go of the dry style lao shu fan since I have over-ordered.

The overall price was too expensive for a hot cafe selling yong tau fu that cost RM 1.30 per piece and costing us a total of RM 34 for the entire meal.

do not underestimate this soup! although the broth looks quite clear and seems harmless, it actually packs quite a punch as the soup is very flavorful! to put it clearly first, the soup doesn't taste like meat broth and is actually more like vegetable broth, different from most yong tau fu outlets. they also cook the soup with the leaves of pucuk manis, which gives off extra sweetness to the soup. from the picture above, you can see that the kitchen is actually very generous in stuffing big port

the easiest way to locate this restaurant is that is situated at a junction connecting jalan puchong batu 14, right opposite a primary school and nearby Han Ming chinese school as well.

the specialty of this restaurant is that they feature their daily fresh made yong tau fu on-the-spot, which means that you can pick up any tau fu and vegetables from the table, and your selection of tau fu and vegetables will be stuffed immediately before served on your table.

among the many choices of ingredients that you can choose are fu zhok, tau Bbok, bitter gourd, eggplant, chilies, lady fingers and many others. they are then given to the waiters/cooks who fry them and serve it to you later. they are all served piping hot from the kitchen. crispy and crunchy, it is even nicer when you dip it in some of their special made sweet sauce or chili sauce.

This small hut opposite the hot school, you can find many people over here during lunch and dinner hour. During lunch hour, the parking is so hard to find because it is opposite the school. Then you need to search for seat and go to choose your own dishes. I personally like their bitter gout the most. Because it is the most healthy and I just like it. The meat inside taste very juicy too. You can dip with their chilli sauce and also sweet sauce. The soup taste quite clear as well.

Comes with the usual variety of yong tau fu ingredients such as tau fu pok, ladies fingers, chillies, tau fu, bean curd, and etc stuffed with fish paste. The one of most important part to determine a Yong Tau Foo is a good one is the fish paste. The fish paste must be fresh and tender. The fried ingredients is also very crispy and the soup is nice with the veges.

This corner side of the school serves a very good yong tao foo. From lunch to dinner, all proper meal time then you can see a proper queue as well. You need to keep your eyes sharp to get the seats. Then go there and pick what you like to eat, later they will serve it to you. Everything is fresh and their yong tao foo are very generous in terms of size. Everything almost the size of my fist. The dumpling is very crunchy skin.

The rice flour kueh has the right texture, not too soft nor too hard. It taste very plain on itself so you will have to eat together with the preserved radish. It taste good from the soya sauce and not too salty. When taken together, it went very well. It is best enjoyed while it is still hot.

I love having YTF as I can eliminate the need of having too much carbs from rice, by just having pieces of vege/tofu product stuffed with fish paste. Let's talk about the item cooked in soup first. Each of the beancurd puffs, white tofu and lady fingers are well stuffed with the fresh and naturally sweet fish paste, cooked till the right doneness so that the fish's texture will not be affected.

Fried items were well done. The fuchuk slices were light and crispy but a bit too oily. Dumplings is must try item here. Inside is stuffed with fish paste mixed with spices, ear fungus and carrot bits. Very well seasoned and tasty.

The soup came with potato leaves and is refillable. It has a natural pleasant sweet taste and very nice to drink.
