Spring Chicken 童子鸡, Rm 30/chicken

It's only serve whole, half is not available as it's a small type of chicken. Their taste is below my expectation. It's dry, without any special sauce, also it is not that salty.

I am truly disappointed with the food and service at Lala Chong Seafood Village in Ara Damansara. Was there on 16 Aug 2014 with my family for dinner, the captain recommended a prawn dish called 'gon jin har lok', we thought why not, when the prawn dish was served, the prawns are filled with Chlorine taste, we can even smell the Chlorine, we told the captain, he buat tak tahu, then we told the boss, he buat tak tahu too, then they started to avoid our 2 tables, and of course they still charge the

i personally am not a fan of fried fish because fish is usually fried when it is not fresh enough to be steamed
i found this dish rather messy because it had so much chilli and deep fried shallots and even curry leaves that i had to pick them out one by one before getting to the meat
the fish was nicely fried where the flesh is still moist and not dried up

This sambal tumbuk really taste fantastic , is fresh grind chilies mixed with other spices served in without stir fried, so it does not oily like those sambal belacan goreng. It is nice to eat it with Fried Noodles. Can taste some lime juice which added in to enhance flavor to the sambal. Very addictive as you might keep dipping it. The spiciness at the right level not too hot and not too salty. Don't forget to ask for more for your next visit.

Is pork free halal style noodles and Meehoon stir fried with chicken cubes , prawns, squids and some vegetables. For a single portion quite huge that enough for 2 small eaters at a reasonable price RM7. Overall taste not bad full of 'wok hei'.

The soup is not much, but it is very tasty(sweet & spicy). The dish comes together with candle underneath the plate to keep the dish warm. The lala is very fresh and juicy. I have finished up all the broth as it is so delicious.

Steamed La La. This has been our favourite dish since we first tried it. It came with candles to warm up the soup. Although the soup was not much, it was very tasty, filled with ginger taste. It is best to warm up the stomach. It had some chili in it to further spice up the broth. The la la was fresh and juicy. I could finish all the broth by myself as it was that delicious.

Four Heavenly King ("Si Da Tian Wang") that consisted lady fingers, angle beans, petai and brinjal. We chose belacan style. The belacan was quite salty and a little bit spicy. It was a little bit oily too. Luckily the petai was not too pungent as I am not a fan of petai. The lady fingers and angle beans were crispy but the angle beans were a bit tough. The brinjal was soft.
