Waffles here are arguably the best in town, though they are pretty freaking expensive. I usually like it with chocolatey and rich stuff, but this time I went to lighter and sweeter route, with whipped cream, honey, and a lighter flavour of ice cream that I can't remember. I conclude that it goes well both ways. The waffle is crispy, the cream really balances out the texture well.

It is no secret. I like chocolate ice cream, I like hazelnut ice cream, and I like waffles. Anyone who's read my reviews would be able to guess. Gelare's waffles are actually pretty good, but expensive if not for the discount on Tuesdays. The dark chocolate ice cream tastes very rich and smooth - not too sweet, which is just the way it should be. Hazelnut ice cream gives a more nutty balance to the whole thing... because one scoop just isn't enough.

以前我都会觉得外面吃煎饼好像很傻。不过自从在外面吃到松软无比的煎饼过后便让我彻底改观了。这里的煎饼咬下去虽然很松软，但是却很实在。配上味道淡淡的奶油味道，还有蜜糖，很完美的配搭。

如果不想吃那么厚重的口味，来个比较简单的regular waffle with 1 scoop of rum and raisin也不错。味道没有什么特别因为上面只是用蜜糖简单调味，还有就是忌廉。少不了的还有主角-rum and raisin雪糕。味道整个吃起来有很香的rum味道。

这个Epitome of Sins的确让人很有罪恶感的感觉。因为上面的配料非常丰富。桃子，草莓，忌廉，草莓雪糕，还有巧克力酱淋在上面。下面的waffle软硬适中，外皮还带有一点酥脆的感觉。配上不同的配料，感觉很独特。

We can't help loving Gelare's ice cream. So sumptuously smooth, rich and thick. Two cups, containing two scoops each. It's been very long since my first visit to Gelare, after my initial disappointment over the lack of chocolate syrup on my waffle.On my second visit, I got smart. I asked for lots of chocolate sauce, and chocolate fudge ice cream. The result? Perfection. The texture of this sorbet a little bit special. It's look like a gum when you pull it using the spoon. The taste is just ok. The taste is weaker than the lecka-lecka that we tried last week. The cream on top not too sweet, is still ok. The boat waffle too soft, you can't really feel the texture of the waffle.

We went to e-curve several times before to redeem deals. Always passby this gelare cafe, but never visit them before. Until recently, Gelare featuring their deal on Dealmates, so we decided to give them a try.their sorbet don't surprise us. Strong with mango taste, but too soft, can't really taste the texture of the sorbet. The boat waffle too soft, i prefer more crispy waffle. I think Waffle World in One Utama did better than them.

I love waffles. It's one of those things that when smell or spot, I tend to gravitate towards it mindlessly.
