Delifrance (Closed)

When it comes to Classic Cheesecakes, I do think Delifrance does them pretty well... It's baked with generous amount of not-too-sweet cream cheese, just exactly the way I love my cheesecakes to be. What's more the cake's base is made from tasty whole wheat crackers; which complements every slice perfectly. I recommend you to have it together with piping hot tea or coffee. yums

Scrambled Eggs Croissant at Delifrance is actually offered as part of their Breakfast package promotion. Which means it also comes with your choice of coffee or tea, untill 11am. You can add on a minimum amount to upgrade to orange juice. I love the scrambled eggs.. done just nicely with just the right seasoning of pepper and salt. Yums And of course the buttery croissant is top grade too...

Hmmm.. when it comes to Blueberry Muffins.. for some reason I find Delifrance's version so-so only. I think I much preferred Kenny Rogers' version. Delifrance's Blueberry Muffins are OK, not too sweet but I do find it a tad hard and not as soft and chewy at Kenny Roger's. The blueberry jam filling is also a tad too sweet. But overall, it's actually not too bad to be honest...

What I love most about this Almond Croissant is that they're definitely very generous with the use of almond powder; thus you can actually taste the almonds with every bite. And of course, the croissant itself is very buttery and flaky too, without being oily. I love butter croissants.. they're the true pinnacle of good pastries ^_^ Delifrance is definitely really good at it. The snow powder finish on top makes it look appetizing as well...

Well, actually I don't quite like Beef so I didn't order this one. But the person who ordered and ate it gave me pretty good reviews on this dish He liked the cheese immensely; and according to him the beef meat is pretty tenderized and rather well-marinated too. Well-prepared and rather flavorful..and definitely more than "passable" in his books. I took his word for it...

Delifrance has a few breakfast set. I ordered Le mini croissant sandwich and my mom ordered sunrise. The set meal was come with a drink of your choice.Le mini croissant sandwich came in two petite size. The fillings you can choose are eggs, tuna, chicken or toast and cheese. I chose tuna as the filling. The croissant was buttery and flaky. It tasted fresh and not oily. The tuna was nice, texture was smooth and it does not have the fishy taste. As for Sunrise, the eggs was bland.
