The thing about the ban chan is that they are normally very delightfully appetizing and great to nibble and go with almost most of the Korean meals. The Koreans actually have their meals with lots of stew and soups as the main dish where else the ban chans are actually sides which is usually prepared in bulk and stored in fridge while taken bit by bit to go with the main courses or the main dish and white rice. One of the many reasons which is the obvious treat and delight many people love about the Korean BBQ is the array of side dishes. With that, it becomes an important factor to keep customers returning for more. The da sa rang actually have very decent side dishes even though the prices of their meals can be reckoned to be slightly pricier than many other Korean bbq house.

One good thing I like about eating korean food is that, I will get to eat unlimited side dish. But too bad not at this restaurant. This restaurant only allows you to refill maximum twice. Sometimes you only able to refill one time. Feel so disappointed after they told me only able to refill one time. Eat their kim chi fried rice. The main dish at here actually not bad at all. The rice is dry and the portion is good. Just that the side dish limitation kills everything. If only they give me refill

Whenever I am craving for kimchi jigae, this is the place that I would visit. IMHO Ko Hyang's version cannot beat this It came with generous amount of kimchi slices, onions, slices of tofu, and green onions. It would be better if the pork belly slices portion is more They tasted very tender and soft- you can easily seperate the strands of meat, probably it is boiled with spices beforehand. The kimchi broth is very thick, pungent, spicy and memang shiok. The kimchi broth is very thick, pungent, spicy and memang shiok. Korean sticky white rice is served together. Just dip some rice into the broth, send it to your mouth- heaven. The rice absorbs the broth very well. I can just sip the whole stew even without rice

Sundubu jigae means tofu stew in Korean, in spicy flavour. It comprises soft beancurd, poached egg, prawns, clams, squid, carrot, cucumber and onions, cooked in Gochujang based soup. This is my personal favourite after Kimchi Jigae. Ingredients were simple and fresh. I enjoy sipping the thick and delicious broth and eat together with Korean sticky white rice. This is easily the best comfort food in my books.Price: around RM10.90 excluding tax (set lunch)

This dish is offered in the set lunch that comes with three side dishes (around RM12.90 excluding tax). What we got that day was par-boiled spinach, spicy cucumber and the obligatory kimchi. All of them tasted decent, while the kimchi deserves a special mention. It was pungent, adequately spicy and crunchy. Certainly one of the best kimchis around.Portion was generous- filled with half fat half lean pork slices, cabbage, spring onions, onions, cucumbers and sprinkle of sesame seeds. The sauce wa

Portion was generous- filled with half fat half lean pork slices, cabbage, spring onions, onions, cucumbers and sprinkle of sesame seeds. The sauce was sweet and little spicy. I would prefer a little spicier but that's just me
That went very well with Korean sticky white rice served beside it.

You see how the food is so much more different compared to other cuisines. Not only the type of food, but also the pots and plates they use. Korean cuisine is very base on rice, vegetables and meats. This is Kimchi Stew [Kimchi Jjigae]. My favorite korean dish. We always make it a must to order this whenever we visit any korean restaurant. It is a stew made with kimchi and other ingredients like pork slices, tofu, glass noodles, rice cakes and spring onions. I know it is made of kimchi but the taste of the stew is very much different from the kimchi preserved vegetables it's self. This taste SOOOO much better! Look at the smoke coming out from the stew. It's best when drinking it hot. Not to worry, the bowl the kimchi stew is served in is specially made to keep the stew hot at a long time
This costed about RM15+ with a bowl of rice.

I forgotten the name of this dish, sorry
But what I remember is that it's stir fried chicken with some vegetables cooked in a stew. It was my firs time trying this dish and I told you, it's not disappointing at all!
The stew tasted so good, because of all the ingredients in it. It was a little sweet and salty. And the pieces of chicken tasted chewy and good. This bowl costed about RM15+ with a bowl of rice.

Another expensive but nice food. Korean restaurant is always nice to visit when I have extra loose budget. This time I didn't eat any BBQ. I just ordered their fried glass noodle. Even though the glass noodle was fried, it is still moisture and not dry at all.You can smell the mixture of egg, chicken, mushroom fragrance from the glass noodle. The noodle is soft and Q. So next time when you visit to a Korean restaurant, try to order this.
