the lotus root soup is boiled using pork ribs that is the reason for the soup to be so sweet and the broth so cleari find that there is too much pork in it, i would rather it has more lotus rootsthe lotus roots are cooked through till it is soft but not soggy so there is still a crunch in themit also has red dates in it which makes it so much more healthier to drinkthe only concern i have is that the soup is served in a bowl that is chipped and looks old
