it is dessert store in seri petaling. It serves many types of desserts, both cold and hot. The sesame tong yuen here is chewy and nice. It is served with ginger soup. We ordered peanut paste. It was thick and sweet. The tong yuen is also served with shaved ice. The chilled tong yuen together with red bean in shaved ice is nice. Other than that, they also sell many other desserts like mango sago, sesame paste and many more.

距离上次在这家店有过不太愉快的经验后，这次来到他们的另外一家分店，点其他的看看还可以吗。我点了芝麻糊，还有两粒汤圆，芝麻糊还不错，质感很好，而且也不会太甜，跟汤圆很配，这次总算没太差。

I totally love Sweet Bean. Their signature fare are their Hong Kong style desserts. Yums They used to be located at the older part of Seri Petaling but have sinced moved to this new location near the New Ipoh Chicken Rice Restaurant. They serve full-fledge meals too (variety of noodles, fried rice, western dishes and such); but I'm only crazy over their desserts. My favorites ? Red Bean, Green Mung Bean, Black Sesame Paste, Peanut Paste and Herbal Egg Tong Suis. Yums

Cheese Mushroom Chicken Mee. This dish took almost 15 minutes to be served. The mee was generously flooded by the mushroom gravy. The gravy was creamy, cheesy and buttery. Albeit a little bit of mushrooms, the gravy was fragrant of mushroom flavour. The fried chicken was well-marinated and deep-fried to crispiness. The chicken was tender and tasted sweet with some spices. The size of the chicken was small though. The mee was springy.

Nasi Minyak that came with two pieces of kurma chicken, sambal, nuts, anchovies, egg and cucumber. At first glance, we thought it was nasi lemak as the ingredients are almost the similar. However, the sambal was not the typical nasi lemak sambal. This version was full of herbs taste and was spicy, quite tasty. The kurma chicken gravy was slightly watery and sweet. The chicken was slightly tough. The rice was full of the fragrance of oil.

Peanut paste dessert ("Fa Sang Wu") and Glutinous Rice Ball ("Tong Yuen") dessert. The peanut paste dessert tasted artificial to me, like boiling it from a premix peanut paste. It was sweet and gluey. The glutinous rice ball was soft and slightly chewy. The inner fillings were black sesame which was aromatic. The soup of the glutinous rice ball has extremely strong ginger taste which can warm up the stomach.

Mango Sago. This dessert came in a small bowl. The shaved ice was simmered with mango puree and lots of sago. The mango cubes were nicely surrounding the bowl. The mango puree was thick and sweet. There were lots of mango cubes which were fresh and sweet. The sago added further chewy texture to the dessert. Once the ice melted, the sweetness level was reasonable.
