Carbonara (RM 19), spaghettini with turkey ham and sauteed mushrooms engulfed in their classic creamy sauce. As carbonaras go, this one wasn't half bad. The mushrooms were thick and juicy, and there was ample cream sauce, which is good for those who like carbonara wet. Unfortunately I think I've been spoilt too much by other carbonara's at SanBanTo which have very distinct pork flavours (though to be expected since Plan b is a halal join). The other soup that Plan b offers is a Wild Mushroom Soup. Also at RM10, there was lots of little bits of mushroom inside the soup, which is very important to determine what kind of quality you're getting in your soup. Unfortunately we found this dish to be slightly below par, as though there was a some cream spread on top, overall the soup just wasn't creamy enough. It was quite a big bowl, but it was quite diluted and watery. Also there wasn't enough mushroom flavour to make this a great bowl

The appetizers menu at Plan b isn't very extensive. There's a choice of 2 different soups, so we tried both of them. The Chicken, Barley & Vegetable Soup turned out to be a very clear and comforting soup with lots of vegetables to munch on. To me it was nice, but not something I would pay RM10 for. Wendy loved this though, and she has this bookmarked as one of her favourite places for soup. The coffee served in Plan b is unexpectedly good. They have their freshly grounded beans over there for the preparation of their coffee. The coffee they serve here is aromatic and smooth, on top it gives you a foamy sensation which adds a hint of creaminess to the coffee. You can add sugar and request for milk according to your preference too. The ambiance here is also very cozy, suitable for a coffee break.

The spaghetti in Plan B are all quite good I would say. Their Spicy aglio olio spaghetti comes with mushrooms and cooked vegetables and it has olive oil and chili oil added. The dish is very tasteful I would say but for me, I would think that this spaghetti is a bit too oily. However, overall, the taste is okay. The portion of the spaghetti is quite big too, which I think is ideal for sharing.

This is the Plan B at Bangsar.Plan B is a western style restaurant that served different types of western food.This is the big breakfast. Well, the portion is really huge. The scramble egg is so creamy and soft. I like thisscramble egg very much.The hotdog is so tender and juicy. The hash brown is so crispy and soft inside. This place is a nice place to hang out or have casual lunch. I like the environment with the music and dim lighting. Seats are also available outdoors. Service is good too but sometimes it may be hard to catch the waiter's attention because they're so busy.I had a plate of spaghetti marinara and was pleasantly surprised at the portion. I love a good egg's benedict. Plan B makes a pretty decent one. They have 3 renditions of it - this is the Eggs Ben, which uses slow-roasted portobello mushroom as their main filler.The eggs are perfectly poached and goes very nicely with their creamy hollandaise sauce; and the mushrooms are dense, juicy and earthy. It's a good combination. The rocket seems out of place though. Naturally bitter and grassy, the textures and flavours didn't work well with the rest. I think it should've been wilted

What is eat is a million ringgit question in Malaysia and when you're usual Plan A doesn't work, why not drop by Plan B around Bangsar area for dish with a twist?The spaghetti is cooked to perfection. They were not stingy in the fresh and rich tomato sauce. The meatball was meaty and soaked with herbs is seriously good and addictive.

What will be greater to start your day off than bacon? Get the juiciness of it from Plan B! Plan B serves a great variety of western food and you are for sure going to be satisfied here! Their bacon sandwich is served in a big portion, so you will surely have to energy to continue your day. They have some chips on the side and also salad.
