This is one of the restaurant at Pavillion that I often see packed during lunch hours especially. From the exterior decoration we could guess that it serves one of the many types of Chinese cuisine. In this case, would be Hakka cuisine!One thing that I naturally relate to Hakka dishes is the “Lei Cha” rice, or literally translates to “Green Tea” Rice. One thing that I naturally relate to Hakka dishes is the “Lei Cha” rice, or literally translates to “Green Tea” Rice. May sounds peculiar but indeed a good and healthy dish! Lots vegetables accompany together with its signature “green soup”! Mostly people would shun away at the sounds of it, but not me! Being an adventurer, so am in for the challenge! And guess what? Am OK with dish especially with lots sesame! Just that I prefer to take my rice with vege and green soup separately, else I get full very fast! Hehe…..

Of course if you’re not keen of it, fret not as you could still have other options from the menu, ranging from rice, noodles to porridge etc. So just make a pick! ^_^

This is the first time I eat at this restaurant, my colleague tell me their food is not bad and most important thing is NO MSGSInce I going for a quick lunch so I just order a new release lunch set - Loh MeeThe soup a bit too salty, but they put lot thing inside, e.g. sliced pork meat, squid, prawn and cabbage. beside the mee, still got dessert and herbal tea, taste not bad too.

They having set lunch promotion recently and thus decided to have a try. Although is set lunch promotion, but the price also not that cheap, need at least RM13++ except the introductory items. The introductory items might change but I am not sure when they will change once. The introductory items right now is Loh Mee, which cost RM11.90++ with a drink and dessert. I ordered one of this but change the mee to Pan Mee where their Pan Mee is Hakka Handmade Style. The texture of this Loh Pan Mee look

The texture of this Loh Pan Mee looks like Shark’s Fin Soup, hehe. The gravy was a thick egg drop soup enriched with cabbage but it’s quite salty. The Pan Mee was springy and smooth which is nice to eat. Besides, the amount of squid and prawn were quite a lots and it was so fresh.

From the door of restaurant they showing that the foods serving here are without any MSG and yet I proven that was truth as my noodle were salty but I won’t feel thirsty after having it, another healthy restaurant you can chose it. But you must come early during lunch hour as it is full of crowd and the seats available at here are quite limited.

Woohoo, this is my third time visiting Ying Ker Lou. This round is with mum for lunch and we were seated at table 20. Will never get bored of this place's good food. Since there were only the 2 of us, we ordered only 2 dishes.Stewed Peanuts (RM 3)Tasty soft peanuts.......Salt Baked Herbal Chicken (RM 28)Taste good with slight wine and not too salty but too little herbal taste.Slow Stewed Pork Gut with Pickled Mustard in Hot Pot (RM 23)Nothing to comment so just Yummy yummy...........lol.........

Small Jelly Fish + Salmon Yee Sang (RM 48)
A bit expensive for a small portion of Yee Sang; but we don't care cause CNY is approaching. This is the first Yee Sang I had for this year. Slightly disappointed with it cause the Salmon were not really fresh. Luckily we did not have any diarrhea after taking it.

This one of the classic type of Pan Mee. I like it so much. This Dry Pan Mee is mixed with the black soya sauce , with some slice muchroom, mixed pork meat and vege make the taste so good. beside that also have some side dish as well. like fry wantan, ikan bilis and barley drink.

All these while I thought Pencai (Potluck) is for at least 10 ppl, until the other day when I visited Ying Ker Lou, only to realize they actually offer the Pencai for 2 - 3 person. Awesome! The Pencai looks very appetizing, and full of delicious ingredients! There are steamed chicken, fried prawns, pork stew with black fungus, stuffed tofu, vegetables... etc. And the best part that lies underneath all the dishes is the noodles! The noodles have absorbed all the yummy sauce, flavourful! Thumbs up!
