I was starving for lunch one fine day so I've decided to order chicken rice, with added rice. The pork noodle in De Happy Land is decent. This pork noodle has the standard noodle options that you can mix and match ranging from kuey tiao, yellow mee, bihun, loh she fun and the likes. I ordered the bihun only, with the soupy option. The good part of this noodle is that its soup is quite flavourful and has much minced pork in it. However, I find that it was too salty for my liking. One of the favourite haunts for lunch is De Happy Land Restaurant at USJ14. I was looking for something spicy, thus the curry mee is the one to go for. I ordered a large curry mee which costs RM5.00. I was feeling a little thirsty after the MSG-laden soup from the fried wan tan noodles. Hence, decided to order a glass of teh ais. Priced at RM1.80, it is quite reasonable. The drink is very well flavoured, with a combination of heavy tea taste, with lots of milk added in. It was not diluted at all. On top of that, since I ordered after having my meal, the ice did not fully melt, hence, the teh ais was not watered down. Very nice!

A colleague suggested to go to Restoran De Happy Land in USJ 14 for lunch, as their wan tan mee is quite nice. We went there, and I saw that they serve fried wan tan, which looks quite appealing. I ordered the fried wan tan noodles, and it came piping hot. The noodles were springy and well seasoned with soya sauce and oil. The fried wan tan was definitely a winner as the filling is adequate and well flavoured. It comes with some sawi and a small bowl of MSG-laden soup, but that is expected. A go
