Then there is the test of the pizza as all proclaimed Italian restaurant must proof their worth in the wood oven baked pizza. Vineria.IT scores in the Quattro Formagio pizza with most of its ingredients imported from Europe. You can't get anymore authentic than that.

The pasta is also magnifico!! Especially the seafood marinara. Vineria.IT is generous with the seafood with mussels, squid, and fish fillet. Paired with a sharp white wine really hits the spot. Why spend money to go to Italy when it's right in our backyard.

But I do order their dessert which is tiramisu! Is nice and full wiht whipped cream but the rum taste is less.
Personally I think Vineria.IT is more suitable for wine session then dining session

Deep-fried stuffed parmigiana risotto balls. Chopped into small chunks for convenient eating. An addictive snack, but surprisingly filling, so go slow on them. Ravioli stuffed with duck meat, fried with sage and truffle butter sauce. A terrific recipe; the ravioli skin was soft and smooth, while the stuffing and the sauce combined forces for a powerful wallop of meaty and herbal flavours. Roasted baby goat. Steeply priced at RM160, but enough to feed two moderately hungry people. Our favourite

Roasted baby goat. Steeply priced at RM160, but enough to feed two moderately hungry people. Our favourite platter for the evening: the meat was fork-tender and flavourful, though we're still not sure how to distinguish goat from lamb.

Bagna Cauda (a salty Piedmontese anchovy & garlic dip with crunchy veggies). The menu's healthiest item, if you exclude the salads (which we always skip anyway). Asiago cheese souffle with sauteed porcini and aged balsamic vinegar. The souffle was amazingly airy, with the taste of a mild cheese but the texture of a light mousse. Too bad the portion was pitifully puny. Bar Italia's inimitable gelati (vanilla, hazelnut, limoncello, cherry). Semifreddo with forest fruit sauce. Cold and refreshing.

Duck & foie gras sausage with truffle cheese fondue. Worth ordering as an alternative to artificial-tasting supermarket sausages, though the saltiness overpowered any hint of foie gras. We were kinda bewildered by the fondue, which was more like a congealed chunk of cheese sprinkled with pepper instead of a warm sauce scented with truffles.

Barley with fried capsicum and tuna. A healthy substitute for risotto, with mild, subtle flavours. We appreciated how the barley remained firm without being chewy.

Gnocchi Sorrentina (potato gnocchi with tomatoes, oregano & mozarella). Finally, gnocchi that isn't lumpy! Alas, it still fell short of greatness; while it wasn't heavy, it wasn't quite the fluffy, pillowy gnocchi that haunts our dreams. Also, the sauce needs more fine-tuning to really complement the gnocchi _ perhaps a different type of tomato could be used.

Two types of tiramisu: "Traditional," with Sicilian Marsala & Espresso Ristretto (no surprises, no complaints) and "Modern," with coconut and fiordilatte (weird, but fascinating; imagine the usual creamy tiramisu, except that it's coconut-flavoured).

Meanwhile, at Vineria, there's often something seemingly intriguing to try, particularly in the meat and cold-cuts section. Skipping to dessert: a mix of espresso, gianduja ice cream, chantilly cream & the faintest flavor of what's listed on the menu as 23-year-old rum. Grappa-poached pear covered in chocolate sauce and nuts. We prefer the wine-poached version at Casa Del Cocco for its more honeyed softness. Peach & vanilla chilled soup with caramelized berries & tarts. A tad too tart. Vechhia

The menu called this "schiacciata," a classic flat bread recipe, but it seemed like regular pizza, topped with ham, rocket salad and maybe stracchino cheese.

Rolled eggplant stuff with ham, mozzarella and mint
not plenty as it seems, but the quality of the food that tells. The fresh cut eggplant is wrapped nicely to the ham, ensuring the juice blend together so when we bite, the juice of both can flows into our mouth. Great one mouth could lead to another, perfect starter =)
