Hello everyone, this time I am going introduce Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant which is located in Telok Gong and which can travelled there by Kesas highway.Coconut Flower Seafood restaurant is a seafood restaurant which already have existed more than 10 years. It stands a large area and most of the tables and seats are in a semi- outdoor environment. Famous for their todi and seafood, this place is running in a very simple trend like most Chinese restaurant. Tables and chairs are all arranged in open air tent and the pavements were not smooth. The roofs are supported with huge timber as pillars in this restaurant. Most people come to this place for the seafood. But common Chinese meals are also served here. Common dishes like the fried tofu with gravy, fried spinach, or the fried oyster with omelet are served with plain white fragrant rice.

Besides the fried spicy snail, this kind of snail which I not familiar with the name of it. However, the outlook of it is slighty different, it is long shape and the taste of snail also slightly the same. The texture of snail flesh is so freshy and chewy, flavorting with chilli sauce and other spice materials make it more and more delicious, let people cannot stop eating.

This fried spicy snail is delicious. Although the outlook of snail will make people feel disgusting, the taste of snail will make people feel that they are absolute wrong. Steam fresh Epinephelussp slices. Again, the name of this dish was steam Epinephelussp ("qing zheng shi ban pian"), but actually it was steamed fish slices. the fish chopped into slices and steam within ten to fifteen minutes. It came with a dipping soy sauce which was quite salty, but the fish still could fell it was very fresh because the texture was fine and not too rough, the slice was slightly small.

This pan fried tilapia fish with thai sauce is amazing and highly recommend here. The chef there use pan fried style to handle the fresh local tilapia fish, after that flavorting with original thai sauce and add on some lady finger slices and long beans pieces. The spicy and sour taste make the fish more delicious, we already mouth-watering before start the meal.

Having meal Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant, in such a comfort environment is an enduring experience for me. This drink is so familiar for me, coconut wine mixes with guiness, is such an interesting combination, apart from the usual tangy guiness taste, add on some fresh and sweetness coconut wine, the ratio for coconut wine and guiness are exactly right, the drink is awesome.

I went there since years ago. The taste is quite not bad, but recently I bought vouchers from groupon and went to eat again. The taste was not as good as last time yet the price is still reasonable. The oyster omelette is quite recommended. Besides that, the salad prawn taste quite nice too. Worth to try. If your budget allows, you may try the super big size crab too.
