Macaroni Macaroni Smile Jan 25, 2016

Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

Macaroni just opened in Taman Desa few months ago and I just get to try with my friends outing.

Macaroni's interior design full of american country and rustic elements in there and I did feel relax and chill while I dined there.

My friend recommended me to have her favourite pizza in Macaroni which is Magheritta pizza and what surprised me that it costed RM12 only!!! Seriously !! No Lies!! I swear!!like

Magheritta pizza is made with tomato paste and cheese. Though the ingredients were simple but less is more. The simplicity of this pizza made the pizza tasted even more perfect! The pizza pastry was baked until very crispy! Nyam Nyam nyam

EVeryone definitely you should give it a try

Char SIew Wanton Come Coem Come OK Jan 25, 2016

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Hello everybody!
Today I want to talk about Meng Kee Char Siew Wantan Mee. I want to say actually its wanton mee not bad but its signature dish is the char siew.
Meng Kee doesn't only sell char siew wanton mee but also it sells nasi lemak, chicken floss hor fun and other side dishes such as dumplings and etc.
The wanton mee is bouncy and very nice to eat, the wantons are very nice although they are little small in sizes and the char siew is the highlight.Meng Kee's char siew is very different from what others sell somewhere else might be dyed. Meng Kee roasts its own char siew which they use a 3 layers pork and raost with charcoal. The wanton mee is also served with some choy sum. The small size is RM 5.50.
Whereas the nasi lemak is RM3.50 and even though the nasi lenak doesn't comes with any meat but it is sided with different smabals, potato and others. So, still not bad la~
In a conclusion, the char siew wanton mee is not bad but I don't really like a woman staff who holds the cashier post always shows a poker face other than this still okay.

I love Dakgalbi!!!! Smile Jan 13, 2016

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Noodles

Twins Dakgalbi is a korean restaurant which located in Korean Village in Ampang. Due to a quite number of Korean restaurant exist there, I also wondered which restaurant should I pick too. Twins Dakgalbi is right beside Hanwoori Ampang.

Even though this restaurant is not that big, but it serves the tastiest dakgalbi I have ever had. It offers mild or spicy flavour. Besides dakgalbi, it serves korean sti-fried squid and other korean dishes too such as bibimbap, gimbap, naengmyeon and etc.

I honestly even though the dakgalbi is realtively oily but who cares! The dakgalbi here contains of chicken, cabbage, sweet potato, korean rice cake and the sauce. The staff will cook for you right in front of you. To avoid being splashed by the oil, a small and cute apron will be provided to each person. Awwww so sweet! heart lol music love

For those who don't really have spicy food please choose the mild flavour since the mild one already very spicy for me cry  The chicken was bouncy and chewy and the rice cake was nice to bite and I like the sweet potato!!! All ingredients were well-mixed and marinated so you can taste the flavour in every bite! Once you have it and have some leftover, you can add on other ingredients such as rice, rice cake, cheese, ramyeon or otherelse the staff will stir fry the new added on ingredients with the leftover dakgalbi and it becomes another brand new dish! I suggest rice hehe! bowl chopstick

However, when you order dakgalbi there are only kimchi and marinated onion being served but I guess even other side dishes are being served you also cannot finish it because it is way too full!

Lastly, a sweet drink named Shikhye (식혜), Korean Rice Malt Drink is being served which it is very special compared to other Korean restaurants which serve ginger tea in the end of meal.

Another of my childhood taste Smile Jan 13, 2016

Loong Kei have existed since I was studying my primary level. Loong Kei is doing Dai Chao which is stir-frying. Stir-frying is a cooking method which makes all the ingredients are cooked over a strong flame with a wok that is what it differents normal pan stir-fry.

I like Lonng Kei's yinyong the most. However, I'm going to introduce gui hua mian (桂花面), fried rice and stir-fried salted egg with chicken. Gui hua mian is being cooked with raw wanton mee stir-fried with cabbage, pork, egg, bean sprouts, shrimp and etc and it is seasoned with soy sauce. The best timing to have it is right after it is served! Hot but delicious!lolchopstickheart

Whereas the fried rice contains rice, egg, beans, char siew, scallons, shrimp and etc. Although the fried rice is a little bit oily, but I enjoy the rice fragrance very much! Especially the egg fragrance wow~

Lastly, This is my sister's favourite stir-fried salted egg with chicken(咸蛋鸡). I am not saying that it is not delicious but it is way too oily for me and very high in fats and cholestrol!

If you have time please stop by and have a taste, they are in Salak South New Village MArrket and Hawker Cente's second floor.

New Japanese Cuisine Experience  OK Jan 13, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Seafood | Ramen/Udon/Soba

I was in One Utama Shopping Centre and felt distress what to have for lunch and then I decided to have my lunch as I looked at the menu.

Dontaku offers lunch set menu and its regular menu too. I ordered a seafood chahan I think it was a seafood fried rice and Curry Nabeyaki Uddon to Mini Tort Set.

First, I would like to talk about the seafood chahan. Seafood chahan was one of the dishes under the lunch promotion menu. Sea food chahan was a seafood fried rice which contains few scallops, shrimp and squids in there. This seafood chahan was served with a stone pot. Special lehlolbowl It was a ala carte so it had no drinks came along. This seafood chahan was full of egg fragrance and the squid was very fresh too. The flavour was appropriate which the saltiness was right at the point. Whereas the curry nabeyaki udon to mini tori set consisted of a small curry udon hot pot, a bowl of fried chicken with rice and a salad. I was disappointed by the curry udon because the curry soup was not the japanese curry I had before and it tasted strange. However, the fried chicken with white rice and the salad was not bad they went well together. I just don't like the curry udon...
