Signature Dishes
Been to this restaurant several times, never been disappointed with the food. The menu has vegetable / tofu / rice / noodle dishes but also chicken/fish/meat substitutes. All very tasteful and fragrant. Service is a bit clumsy with waiters forgetting that they have customers, but the food makes up for that.

This is the teriyaki duck with chinese bun (man tou) , one of my favourite dish in Yishensu vegan restaurant. The mock teriyaki duck, is cooked with sweet teriyaki sauce and it served with steamed bun. The hot bun is soft and tender, which is steamed before serve. Normally we have it by sandwiched some teriyaki duck and cucumber slice into the bun that cut into half. It served as a great appetizer and cost Rm18.00 for a plate like this.

Vegetarian restaurant, with good service and many people dine in during the lunch/dinner hours. They serve variety of foods here. You get to choose the one you likes to eat and thats the reason they attract many diners to dine in. Went there few times to try out their food. Portion just nice and reasonable price for the food. Ala carte was good. If you plan to order single dish, its really big in portion, you might want to share with your friends though

The business is good, their diners are quite evenly spread out with different races and all ages. In particular family and couples. One must make an early booking to avoid disappointment, if you are going in a group as they have limited round dining tables to cater for bigger group of diners. We had Stir fried bean sprout served with assorted mushroom, sweet corn, sliced carrots and sliced capsicum. The dish may look simple but I never had one like this before. The bean sprout was juicy and so nice to munch. I wonder, the bean sprout was came from Ipoh. The texture and taste was totally different from those found in Kuala Lumpur.

Nowadays, eating more vegetables, fruits and less meat is highly promoted. Having vegetarian food is not only to practice a healthier living, but also indirectly reduce pollution. When looking for vegetarian shop in One Utama, the one and only you could find will be Yishensu.Claypot Chicken RicePriced at RM15, it was rather expensive considering the portion and ingredients given. It tasted rather bland, and the soy sauce infused into the rice was not helping. I could barely taste any saltiness from the pot of rice, and the only thing that taste good in this dish would be the braised mushroom.
