感觉这个味道很不错，我们点了三杯鸡，蚵仔煎，健康养生火锅，麻婆豆腐，台式蛋饼，盐酥鸡，水果花茶。味道都不错，尤其是养生锅，用料多，食材也新鲜。我在新山很少吃到真正的海虾，大多数都是冷冻虾。这边用的是海虾，虽然很多会看到会说为什么黑黑的感觉不新鲜。可是我吃了就知道这是天然的变色。水果花茶我觉得很特别很好喝，有想去台湾走走的冲动。

已从原本的角头搬迁至同排的隔几间的店面，照着原先的地址找，稍微步行就能够找到。

食物方面比较推荐他家的“汤料理”，毕竟药材汤也是他们家特色，之前尝试了“干捞”煮法，虽然还是会附小碗汤但整体感觉没有“汤”的来得好吃。。(っ˘ڡ˘ς)

特别推荐他家的点心-烧卖！料好实在！一口咬下去，满口的肉香，油香！( ⁼̴̶̤̀ω⁼̴̶̤́ )♡虽然对于部分朋友而言可能会有些许的油腻，但相较于一般的黄皮烧卖，真的满足感爆棚！

從小就吃到大，因為我爸媽以前很愛吃。是不錯吃，但是湯頭感覺有放味精，米粉和牛肉/牛肉丸少得可憐，價格卻很貴。長大後自己帶著老公去吃了一次，都覺得非常沒有誠意，價格也偏貴，所以應該也不會再去。這間店生意差了很多，現在沒什麼人，20多年前裡面都是客似雲來的。

We just went there, about an hour ago. Ordered set B, for barbecue pork set, ginseng chicken soup and marinated chicken.

Personally, I never been to Korea, can't tell if it is authentic Korean taste. However, I patronized many Korean restaurant before. This shop is quite different from others that I have tried.

This Korean restaurant prefer to serve burnt meat. A guy helped us to barbecue pork belly. He was there to wait until burnt, then only he turn the meat, and then cut off the burnt part. Same applies on pork rib

Initially I thought it's the guy skill. A lady seems to be a Korean, and seems to be 'owner' level person helped us to barbecue chicken, she did the same. I was frustrated and turn the meat in front of her, as I sensed burnt smell again.

Can someone know better Korean culture to answer ignorant me if Korean like to eat burnt meat?

Plus, they made a platform to let customer to take off their shoes. However, there is no place to store their shoes. This ended up customer simply leave their shoes around and the already narrow passage made impossible for 2 persons to move at same time. It was a disappointing and lousy experience.

用心料理，带出新鲜食材的美味，虽然不比大酒楼的环境，但也不失为一家聚餐的好地点，价格中上，讲究食材用料，人多时速度会慢了点，但食物水准保持的不错，值得推荐给大家

Located along a row of shop houses facing the main road. I was surprised to find a quality sushi and japanese restaurant. My friends who lived around the area raved that it was the  best fresh japanese sushi place and recommended that it was "cheap" for the quality we were getting.I couldn't wait to look through the menu. There were 3 different menus, one for sashimi, one for sushi and one for cooked food. Very soon our table was covered with menus as we had a big group of about 2 families and friends. We were offered a private room with japanese style seating arrangement. It was cosy but a bit narrow. I'm quite clumsy so it was a chore to get up and go elsewhere. There wasn't any buttons to call for service. So I had to slide the door open and yell for service.

1. Sashimi Mori 148RM++ for 3 paxThe combination of the Sashimi Mori was the best! All the fish was fresh and practically melted in my mouth. You wouldn't have to chew any of the sushi. It was so flavourful by it's own. At this point, I did agree with my friend that the quality of the fish here was indeed fresh and value at this price point.

2. Salmon Belly Sashimi 55.80RM++ for 2 servingsThe colour of the ikura and salmon belly says it all, "extremely fresh". The ikura was bursting with juicy goodness. The salmon belly here was so smooth, it melted in my mouth almost immediately once I ate it. for 55.80RM++, this is totally worth it.
3. Shisamo 15.80RM++The staff offered us 2 types of shisamo, one was fried and one was grilled. Both tasted the same to me but neither of them was crispy, slightly disappointing.

4. Hotate Nigiri 75.60RM++ for 4 servingsThe scallops were fragrant and again, melted in my mouth. It was so fleshy and definitely couldn't get enough of this.

5. Tempura Mori 37.80RM++ for 2 servingsThe tempura serving portion was pretty small and pretty much all the tempura pieces disappeared with a blink of an eye. The batter was light, airy and crispy.

6. Chawanmushi Ikura 13.90RM++Definitely getting this again, on my next visit. The ikura was extremely fresh and the chawanmushi was soft, silky and almost pudding-like. The flavour of the chawanmushi was extremely good. It wasn't too salty, but yet you could taste the essence of the chicken, prawn and mushroom into the chawanmushi. They definitely got the steaming timing down to perfection.Overall : A great place to have sushi in a comfortable dining area. Just note, when the staff try to push you to buy something that is "rare", don't go for it. They got us to buy some extremely expensive shellfished sashimi that we had no idea what it was, except that the staff claimed it was the last one.. Don't waste your time. Just go for the Sashimi Mori and Salmon Belly

Bev C is a unique cafe along Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, where food meets fashion. Cool forward thinking designer clothing store with cafe upstairs. Design and ambience of this unique shop are its attractive points with no doubt.

Bev C was founded by Beverly and Cally. It was a place for the founders showcases their talents through fashion design and food. Its unique store designs stood out from the rows of traditional showhouses. Upon entering the store, you will be greeted with rows of designer apparels. They are really chic and pretty. You can take your time to browse through the boutique to satisfy your fashion need. After doing so, walk up the staircase to the food heaven. There, at level 2, is where the café was located. It gives a very industrial feel.Mint chocolate plate was served on the woodenly board and wooden utensil. It seems to be somehow similar to window by the sills. It was a popular must order item when patron visit Bev C. The slice of pastel-mint coloured chocolate pie was really delicious. It was smooth and chocolately with mint flavour in every bite. The sweetness was just right- not too sweet. Chunks of chocolate can be found within the chocolate mousse to create a layering texture. Mint Chocolate Pie (RM12.90)The Espresso Ice Cubes comes in three types – Milk, Chocolate & Milk and Caramel with Milk. It was really interesting to see that the Espresso shots are frozen into ice cubes and served with milk at the side. You can pour in the milk based on your preference and wait for these pretty ice cubes to melt, forming an iced latte. Espresso Ice Cubes with Caramel + Milk (RM14.90)

Trust me. These two items are the “must order” if you are visiting Bev C.

食物好吃，服务态度很好食物好吃，服务态度很好食物好吃，服务态度很好哈哈哈，很重要所以要说三次个人蛮喜欢他家的東炎面粉果和干捞手工面，介钱也不贵还有咖喱馒头也是超赞的。

Established in July 2011, Espressolab is an integrated specialty coffee company dealing with every process from upstream right to the downstream side of coffee. It is a place where you can chill with a cup of good coffee.

Although it is not halal certified, it is a “No Pork, No Lard, No Alcohol” Café where the food supplied are halal certified. It was conveniently located in Mount Austin where many cafes are situated.

We went at 10 am, the opening time of the café, so the café was kind of empty at that moment. Soon after, crowds starts to stream in.

The decoration was simple with black and white as its interior design. Tables were spaciously located to allow room for diners to have private moments with friends, family or even themselves.Since we have yet took our breakfast and lunch, we are here for a brunch. We have order the big breakkie, fish and chips, Green Tea latte and a Melbourne iced coffee.

Big Breakkie (RM28.90) consists of croissant bread, scrambled egg, cherry tomato, sautéed mushroom and lettuce. The croissant bread was soft but was not flaky. It tastes like normal white bread, except it was in a croissant shaped. The scrambled egg was slightly over done. I love the sautéed mushroom as they are buttery and garlicky.

Fish and Chips (RM 21) – The battered fish was crispy and fish. Coupled with crispy hot fires, it was really delicious!!

Green Tea latte (RM16) was rich and smooth. It was great that it does not have a very strong bitter after taste.

Melbourne Iced Coffee (RM16) has a really strong aroma. Delight in the kicks of caffeine!Big Breakkie (RM28.90), Fish and Chips (RM 21), Green Tea latte (RM16) and Melbourne Iced Coffee (RM16)

There are a couple of cute soft toy around as decoration so I grab this cute fluffy and fat sheep for a photoshoot.Nearby mount Austin? Want a cup of decently good coffee? Espressolab is the place to be.

With new Cafes popping out once in a while in Singapore, it may seem a norm but I was rather surprise to see the increase number of cafes in Johor Bahru during my recent visit there.Chaiwalla & Co. is an open air cafe which you cannot find in Singapore with tables and chairs sitting on the open ground sand and cement. Having its unique part with her working space operated out of a container. If you heard of the famous Hiap Joo Bakery that sells traditional baked Banana Cake, Chaiwalla & Co Container Cafe is just around the corner.

Enjoy a cup of beverage, either coffee or tea from Chaiwalla. Pies can be grabbed from here too if you decide to have some food to go along with your beverage.We ordered a cup of Thai Milk Tea at RM 9.30 and enjoy this refreshing drink under the hot weather which fits our plan in beating the heat. However if you are keen in toppings like pearls or jelly, they are available at additional cost.

We wanted to explore more Dim Sum places in Johor Bahru and we read of Changman. By the time we cleared the jams at the causeway, its already tea time. Besides selling Hong Kong Dim Sum, Changman offers a variety ranging from Chicken Rice to Hor Fun too.Mistakenly order the Avocado Juice as I thought it was Avocado milkshake and only to find out that they are actually offering a low sugar level Avocado Juice. Juice tasted a little creamy and was light in taste, not too bad though.Looked dry on the external but as the saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover. These carrot cakes were crispy on the outside with a soft texture under the layer. Simply love the Carrot Cake and it went very well with the accompanied chilli.The Xiao Long Bao was something I looked forward to as they were served differently with each of them sitting on a mini aluminium tray. Be additional careful as the skin was rather thin and with soup bursting out of its case easily.Besides the XLB, I will also give a vote to their chicken rice set. You can never get a set of chicken rice set with drumstick at this kind of pricing in Singapore.Poached chicken was yummy and drenched with sauce. Meat was tender and from its skin color, you can tell that kampung chicken was used.Char Siew Buns were soft and packed with sweet chopped Char Siew fillings.The green buns were stuffed with yummy golden lava or "Liu Sha" was not too bad but the skin of the buns was kind of thick with buns lacking the oozing power from its fillings. Buns were soft but was not as fluffy.Rice Roll aka "Chee Cheong Fun" was smooth and silky, encasing a few prawns. Generous amount of soy sauce was added to elevate the taste. On top of serving them in a leaf shaped plate, greens were included as a side to make the presentation looks better.For extra kick, add some chilli to it."Har Kao" aka aka prawn dumplings were quite fragile in the sense that the prawns easily fell out from its translucent "casing".How can Har Kao exists without Siew Mai in the Dim Sum Fare? Well, they were never be left out in our orders. Siew Mai has a touch of orange crab roes and the meat was rather springy.Overall it was quite an average fare and spread of food from Changman Dim Sum. I don't mind revisiting with other groups of friends.

Koone, a new addition to café to the café street in Johor. It was minutes walk away from the Singapore-Johor custom. With its pretty pink layout and amazing gigs to enhance the ice cream presentation using dry ice, it has attracted many youth to visit.

There are many different varieties for you to choose from. Each contains a soft serve and toppings such as dango (mochi) or fruits. When served, it was put into two paper cups with the bottom paper cups containing dry ice. The dry ice was meant to be an effect to create a misty appearance. This misty effect would be gone in a minute or so. So be quick to snap some photo of this misty effect. Hokkaido Matcha (RM14)

We have ordered the Hokkaido matcha (RM14) which comprises of japan green tea soft serve tops with japan dango and drizzle of honey. The honey helps to reduce the bitter aftertaste of the matcha. This makes the matcha soft serve really tasty as it was rich and creamy minus the bitter taste. Love the combination as the dango are really chewy and tasteless so it helps to neutralize the sweetness yet create different taste texture. For an experience eating misty and tasty soft serve and dining in a pretty environment, why not drop by Koon.

Hiap Joo Bakery, one of the oldest and famous bakery in Johor. It has been in operation since 1919 selling freshly baked malt-flavoured breads and aromatic banana cakes. One of the most prominent icon of Hiap Joo Bakery is the wood fired oven where they still employed traditional method of making the pastry.

It was located minutes walk away from city square johor. You can easily spot queue snaking outside the stall waiting for the freshly baked breads and cakes.

The aroma was simply too tempting to resist. Especially for those who has already try their goodness. This goodness was from this traditional wood fired oven. Perhaps it’s this traditional feel that makes the cakes even more tempting.We bought the coconut buns and the banana cakes. The banana cake was really soft and fluffy. The banana cakes was lightly sweeten, which makes it healthy. The top of the banana cake was slightly toasted to golden brown, giving it more texture.Banana Cakes Big ( RM9.60)The coconut buns was really too yummy to care about calories. It was generously filled with grated coconut. The buns are really soft inside and toasted on the outside. It sold out really too quickly. I have too many failed attempt before this successful try. So be early!!Coconut Buns, 5 pieces (RM 3.70)

It’s really a bakery to visit. Too much wonder in this traditional bakery. Do come early as the pastries sold out real fast!
