The place was located in the middle of a row of shophouses. It looked simple from outside. But inside it was very colorful decorated with many cartoons characters around. Don't forget to visit the second floor too. There was also Photo Booth Backdrops and props available too for photo taking. The menu looked not bad but we were too full, and decided on drinks only.

Plum Green Tea 梅子绿茶 (RM7.90++)

It tasted refreshing sour.

Caramel Milk Tea 焦糖奶茶 (RM7.90++)

Slightly on the sweet side.

Fruity Tea 水果茶 (RM8.90++)

There was cubes of apples in the drink. Refreshing sweet drink.

There is 10% discount when like its Facebook page. The cafe also has free wifi available.

This restaurant was a branch of the well known IT Roo Cafe. It is located in the middle of a row of shophouses. One could not miss its signage which was written "Best Chicken Chop In Town".

Beware of the peanuts and ice water which were served on the table, as they were chargeable at RM0.30++ for per glass of water and RM2++ for per plate of peanuts. Service was slow, and the staffs had problems understanding english. As we were a big group with 17 persons, we asked for the individual billing, yet was refused in order to simplify job for the staffs themselves. Yet the female staff who was taking orders, just continue to take her own sweet time. Half the table had received food while the last few guys still had not have orders taken.IT ROO Chicken Chop (RM16.50++)

Chicken thigh meat, coated with bread crumbs and deep fried, served with potato, homemade coleslaw and choice of sauces - Mushroom or Black Pepper

I had it with mushroom sauce which was a bad choice as it tasted like made from packet powder bought from supermarket. The serving was quite small. Far from the huge serving as reported online. The meat was oozing with oil as I sliced it through. The potato tasted raw.Sirap Bandung with Gula Melaka (RM4.90++)

The drink looked quite colorful in 3 colors when served. It was a combination made of rose syrup, milk and gula melaka syrup.

Tasted not bad, but the glass was full of ices. In fact more than half the glass.

Overall the food was a tab overrated. Service was bad. One really had to very patient while dining in here.

The outlet was part of a rather well chain in Malaysia which was known for its chinese style soups. Do take note that the Guava with Mandarin Peels (RM 3.90++) and wet tissue on the table are chargeable.Souper Tang Signature Soup 汤师爷招牌参鸡汤 （RM39.90++/ 2 pax)

Requested for the soup to be boiling hot, yet it was served barely warm. Asked to send back. It was served slightly hotter the second time although we suspected that the bowl was microwaved.

The meat looked quite red, with lots of bruised markings around. How to eat?

Pan Fried Eggplant with Scallop in XO Sauce (RM18.90++)

It had a strong alcohol smell when served. It was a very soupy dish, different from what was shown on menu which had looked rather dry.Simmered Chinese Spinach with Wolfberry (RM15.90++)

Looked not bad, but was rather bland in taste.Claypot Beancurd with Sliced Dory Fish and Pickled Olive (RM26.90++)

The fish was dry and tough. Quite disappointing dish.

Nice environment. There is a big parking space in front of the restoran, saved me a lot of time in finding parking.

We have tried oyster omelette, bittergourd soup, Ayam Penyet bla bla bla.. The food are all tasty and the price is reasonable! Worth trying! 

Recommend Lu Mian, that is a famous food at China - Putian. And only 1 have selling in BP. Must be try

We were there and ordered 2 sets of rainbow chicken rice with coffee.

On quality, put it mildly, I will give a 4 at a scale of 10. And why I say so? See below.

1. Rice - yea, it's multi colored with orchid, turmeric, pandan and so on. However, rarely any fragrance and it's quite a disappointing. Rice are served cold, which I do not turn me on.

2. Chicken - I ordered curry chicken and with layman understanding, it's chicken cooked with curry. This shop offers fried chicken with layer of flour cooked with curry. Flour turn soggy and chicken is over-cooked. I can't tell but I really hope this is not overnight unsold fried chicken. Whether if is freshly fried chicken or overnight chicken, the taste really turn me away.

3. Curry - we live in Malaysia, curry is a common dish to us and we have plenty around us. We know what is good curry and which are not. This one, added with starch to improve the gravy body. The gravy has a strong sweet note, more like tomato than curry. Perhaps someone could prefer this, but definitely not me.

4. Pappadum - is not crispy enough. I give a wild guess it's a raining day and resulted moisture picked up, or pappadum was fried days ago. However, our dollar note is not drenched and we are not paying a cent lesser. It's not fair to me for paying full amount and getting a discounted quality food.

5. Coffee - it's big, creamy and it's the best in this shop, I presumed. Anyway, rm 2.90 a cup and I could not think of a reason for not getting a good one

I would recommend this shop for someone always looking for something new, but not necessary something good.

Heard about coconut ice cream? For those who have been to Thailand, having Ice Creams in a coconut bowl is perhaps nothing new to you. With such desserts getting popular nowadays, the cafe in Johor Bahru did not forget about this trendy dessert from its neighbouring country.As soon as we entered into the Cafe, the friendly staff greeted us. There is a leading staircase up to the second level, unfortunately they are still working on the dining space upstairs and I guess the place will soon be packed with patrons both lower and upper levels.Interior was industrial theme and spacious with ample of seating. There is a corner with bar table that was classified as reserved.Coconut has quite a number of benefits, do you know them all?With 2 scoops of original Coconut flavour ice cream and 1 scoop of Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream served in the coconut reminds me of the time when we visited Bangkok's Chatuchak. Toppings over here are generous in the sense that you are allow to add your on toppings at the side of the counter. We added peanuts and crunch in this case. Making a complete set with additional RM 1.00, we were offered a cup of coconut water.

Just had nice meal. Very clean and attentive staff. Food was all good. Tea was oolong. They also serve the healthy Lei Cha and enjoyed.

La Casa Blanca has undoubtedly the best-known Moroccan food in Johor. With classic Moroccan prints lining the walls and the fragrant wafts of tagine in the air, this restaurant has an endearing, homely atmosphere that make guests feel welcomed. Of course, when at Casa Blanca, you have to try their famous tagines stews. It comes in fish, seafood, lebanese green bean stew, beef, lamb, egg or cheese versions served in the earthern pots. We tried the beef tagine which was well-executed, infused in flavourful spices, cumin, prunes, dates, almonds, tomatoes, onions, and more other ingredients to make the delicious stew. It took some time before they managed to serve it, but it certainly didn't disappoint. Pair it with the moroccan tea.

This fancy seaside wine bar and restaurant is located on a hill, with a romantic alfresco garden setting. It looks like the perfect setting for a dreamy garden wedding. At night, lights blink from the edges with a warm soothing glow. Despite how it is quite secluded, this restaurant fills up quite fast with other diners. I had the Fungus Mixed Mushrooms which I found to be quite tasty with foam and salad on the side. It was a bit one-dimensional after a while and felt more like a side dish. The Gourmet 'Hen' (RM58) comes served with a lovely smoking presentation, roasted chicken, gnocchi, baby vegetables and jus natural. The service here is impeccable, leaving a deep impression as they went out of their way to help us flag a cab after our meal. It was really difficult to flag a cab outside because Eight at Lido Hill is located along a highway.

It's no secret that I love going to JB for a medley of reasons. One of them is cafes like this two-storey café Flowers in the Window. Its quaint floral-themed façade is unafraid to be over-the-top. Their floral theme extends even to their seasonal homemade cakes and drinks menu. By the same team as Roost Juice Bar round the corner, it is almost impossible to not love this place (well, unless you are sensitive to pollen).It feels extremely rustic and quaint right from the entrance. The star desserts on display are the chocolate beetroot cake and citrus syrup cake which caught our attention immediately. The chocolate beetroot cake has an interesting combination, the beetroot amazingly managed to intensify chocolate flavour even more. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would...

I seldom post any good experience in eating place, assuming they open door to operate, it's their responsible to provide proper food and service.

This round is Moon Light in bukit indah. I have been there several times and can't think of any good experience. I am there at this moment and finally recalled why I refuse to come for the past 6 months. Their service was lousy. Utterly lousy.

Today, I come again, the service is still the same. When I walk in to the cafe, so one to lead me to seat. We took the seat and soon a lady bring menu over. No one come to take order. It's hard to get the people here. I noticed their staff like to stay inside. One looks-like-more-senior staff saw us waving hands and finally ask others to come out.

Finally I realize moon light hired so many staffs...

Today, Sunday, about 8.30pm, where most restaurants are full house. Here, in moon light, 5 tables out of 15 tables are occupied. Maybe I guess they think their cakes and bread is selling very well and contented with the bakery sales. Why not just close up cafe? I am sure no one will feel a pinch.
