Ocen Seafood Restaurant Smile Dec 30, 2012

It's located right next to the bridge. I guess everyone who has been to Lover's Bridge will have meal at here. This shop is kinda famous, with the delicious seafood they serve and the price is reasonable as well. However, I feel very disappointed because the service is extremely bad. Perhaps the WORST service I ever received.

Fine.. apart from the service, the food is actually not bad.

Famous Pao @ Hai Yew Heng  Smile Dec 30, 2012

Finally I have the chance to visit Tanjung Sepat, after hearing so many positive feedbacks from my friends. Normally what I heard about Tanjung Sepat are "the seafood is cheap.", "the Lover's Bridge got nothing to see, and it's longggg and horrribbblleeeee.", "hey you know there's a mushroom farm where you can even see them planting Ling Zhi?", and again "the seafood is cheap and delicious"........hmm so I gonna see these by myself lol. So I tried to google about Tanjung Sepat and the itinerary of one day trip. And ta-da! I have been there by myself. Therefore I would like to begin my post by introducing this....

HAI YEW HENG

You know why? It is simply because every time I google about Tanjung Sepat, this will pop out. So I guess Tanjung Sepat trip is definitely incomplete without............. the soft and fluffy steamed bun of Hai Yew Heng. Their buns are popular, fast-selling and of course YUMMY. They even sell their buns in other places because I could see their vans on the way to Tanjung Sepat, but I don't know the exact places they go, maybe some kopitiams lol.

The most popular ones are pork bun and green beans bun! I've tried them, and they're really delicious!

The owner is very friendly, she allows me to take photographs on the process of making buns!

These irresistible little buns, I wanna have more!

Low Maji Steamboat Restaurant Smile Dec 29, 2012

Best Steamboat!!!
I entered this shop coincidentally due to its promotion on hot and spicy (ma la) steamboat. We’ve tried its “ma la” soup but it’s not so good compared to tomyam and herbal soup. Still drooling when thinking of the tomyam.
The shop name is “low ma ji” which means mother in Cantonese. I love it so much!! The seafood is very fresh and the best thing is you do not need to grill the food by yourself! Grilling will be done by them, you just need to clip the number on your plate, and concentrate on your STEAMBOAT. I love the seafood there, they have the sweet mantis shrimps and big big crabs! YUMMY!!

They used to charge RM22++ for each person as the other self-serviced buffet steamboat. However, recently they have changed it to charges per dish for each dish you want to order sad Still, it worth a try since their foods are good!

I bet many people know Nong and Jimmy because it is always CROWDED. Sometimes you need to wait for table. The foods are awesome, cheap and delicious. Being a tom yam hunter and number 1 lover, I highly recommend the claypot tom yam soup there <3

The most famous dishes there are the mini yao char koay (deep fried crullers) and charcoal grilled crabs. The freshly made pandan kaya is a perfect match for yao char koay. For those who eat cockles, grilled cockles would definitely cater your tastebuds.

Trust me, you must go there and try out the foods! I've been there for more than 3 times within half year smile Imagine how much I love their foods.

Craft Brews@Mutiara Damansara. I wanted to go there since I've watched a Taiwan travel TV programme, whereby the host visited and introduced S'pore Red Dot brewed beer. The owner of Red Dot was an engineer initially if I am not mistaken, after trying out the home brewed beer during a visit to South Africa, he signed up for a course of microbrewery in US. Then, he returned to Singapore and opened up RedDot Brewhouse. The specialty is the various beers with different colours and ingredients. The green coloured spirulina beer can't be get rid out of my mind after watching the programme.

And... the most exciting part is. RedDot beer is available in Craft Brews! So I wanna give it a try sooo much smile

#1 Craft Brews menu

#2 My green beer spotted! (Price for half pint is RM19)

#3 Price- half pint RM19, one pint RM31.

#4 Funny quote on the table lols what's the relationship between a woman who loves beer and a guy who gonna conquer the world? i wonder..

#5 Love the decoration! btw they also sell Rogue beer lol

#6 Beerlympics! Cool

#7 Our beers!

Craft Brew, a nice place to hang out. Different coloured beers tasted different as well. I prefer the green spirulina beer lol Anyway you may give it a try!
