Fruit Tartlets

The array of Fruit Tartlet is suffice to caters the sweet-tooth whims, without being riddened with much guild later on. All the tart are made of a soft tart pie that has some hints of buttery fragrance, before pairing with the corresponding fruity filling. Few that makes my top pick is the blueberry tart and also the strawberry with kiwi and longan. The former poses some lovely citrusy of the berries but not too sweet, whilst the latter consists of a balanced plethora of fruity flavor in it. Quite a light and refreshing snack.

Assorted Mini Cakes

Compared to the other selection of dessert, mini morsels of cakes have always been my top priority. No matter how full am I after the usual normal main course, I would still leave some space in my tummy for this sweet treats Of all the array, I particularly enjoy the cheese-based cake as well as the chocolaty type. The baked cheese cake is not bad, although I prefer it to be creamier as in frozen type. The latter has a moist and rich taste especially the chocolate that seems to be truffle-like. Sinful indulgence indeed and so, I balance out with the many types of zesty fruits that I can find. Woosh!

Corn Crème Caramel

Looking for some silky dessert? Then perhaps this Corn Crème Caramel would satisfy your craving. Quite a not an ubiquitous fare as compared to bread pudding which is quite apparent in every buffet dining. This pudding has some fresh added idea by including some sweet kernels to be part if the dessert. The corns mostly are embedded at the base, with caramel flowing freely from the top. It seems quite normal to me as am just a normal fan of pudding. Texture wise still decently slurpy.

Assorted Malay kueh

Various types of delicious Malay are also being offered at this hotel buffet dining. They are kueh Koci, red bean laye cake, gula Melaka ball and many more. You can even get to taste the authentic flavor of tapai too. But my favourite choice remains with kuih bingka that comes with some dashes of sesame to enhance the taste. The kueh is soft and quite springy in the middle. It also omes pleasantly with some pandan taste. Besides that, the kueh pelita is equally mouthwatering. Enjoy its jelly-like texture amidst the milkiness of the coconut milk.

Kurma Counter

The sight of seeing a whole lot of many Kurma types being displayed widely is usually seen more common during the ramadhan month. The dates would be eaten just before breaking fast and allows the tummy sort of to warm up first. There are indeed many types of Kurma out there. Only get to know when coming to Prince Hotel for buffet, where various types of Kurma are being offered around. They come in big to small sizes, with the taste mainly is sweet. I actually find them not easy to distinguish by colour since all of them shares the same appearance. Anyway, they can be quite fibrous as well that also comes with seed in the middle. Quite a good replacement for refined sweetness.
