The name for this dish is rather interesting so this must be good, right? Luckily it lives up to its expectation. This interesting dish consist of lamb shank slow cooked into perfection so it just falls off the bone when cutting into it. A huge amount of tomato based sauce with assorted vegetables are spread across the juicy and tender meat. On the side is a small portion of mashed potato with cheddar cheese. Absolutely brilliant dish!

As the name suggests, this is a fried dish with cheese. Initially I didn't know what the 'mac' in the name means but I soon found out when I take a bite. The dish is beautifully garnished. It is actually macaroni & cheese deep fried into cube shaped appetizers. One bit into it has the cheese & macaroni filling your mouth. The cheese is just the right amount, not oozing out when biting into it. However, I won't mind if it has so much cheese that it just 'explodes' in your mouth. Be careful though as this could be very filling so only order this if you have a few person to share this with.

I like this place for it's home like environment & the nice food (of course!). We ordered 4 dishes for 3 person, the portion is just nice.Dish 1: Vietnam Chicken. I do not know how to describe the taste & texture of it. The closest is probably sweet & sour pork BUT it's salty, not sweet/sour. Very nicely done. Love it.
Dish 2: Vegetable. I do not know what's the name but it was recommended by the boss & it has a poster of it near the entrance. It's purely leaf and none of the hard stem. Cooked with bean curd with some gravy.Dish 3: Seafood Otak-otak. My favourite dish. Cooked with eggs, prawns & squid. Finger. Lickin'. Good.
Dish 4: Claypot Bean Curd. Good mixture of bean curd, mushrooms. carrot & some vegetables. Good for mixing the gravy with rice

My favourite dessert place. It was after my Subway dinner & I drove over to BlackBall and ordered a drink only, Winter Melon Tea with Pearls. I asked for less ice as well because having the normal amount is just too cold and it hinders my pearl 'sucking'. I love the winter melon tea as it's very refreshing and I'm not really fond of the milk tea sort of drinks. Other than pearls, we can choose to have it with grass jelly, sky pearl, jade pearl, lemon, tea or just the drink by itself.

As the name of this dish suggests, it is fried rice with golden mushrooms. What a combination! It is simply fantastic. The fried rice itself is tastefully fried but it is not the very dry type. Add that with the golden mushroom just brings out the sweetness in the mushroom. They didn't hold back on the golden mushroom as it has quite a big portion mixed together with the rice. Serves with cucumber & lime slice (which I do not take).
