This branch is located at D'Piazza Mall, Jalan Mahsuri, Bayan Baru, Penang, Bayan Lepas.Waffle served with chocolate ice creamTo me this waffle is not that great. The waffle is cold and it is not crispy. It has becomes soggy. In addition, the waffle is quite small for the price. The chocolate ice cream on the other hand has great chocolate flavour. It is quite creamy and makes the waffle tastes better.

Blackball is a dessert restaurant servings a very wide range of taiwanese style desserts perhaps. There are a few branches of blackball in Penang here. The following review is all about the blackball branch located at D'Piazza Mall.This dessert consists of corns, yam balls, mango balls and two different types of grass jelly (one is chopped and another is unchopped). The chopped version grass jelly were more hard and chewy. It depends on your own choice which one you prefer as both are also nice to be eaten.

My favourite dessert place. It was after my Subway dinner & I drove over to BlackBall and ordered a drink only, Winter Melon Tea with Pearls. I asked for less ice as well because having the normal amount is just too cold and it hinders my pearl 'sucking'. I love the winter melon tea as it's very refreshing and I'm not really fond of the milk tea sort of drinks. Other than pearls, we can choose to have it with grass jelly, sky pearl, jade pearl, lemon, tea or just the drink by itself.
