Nice Sheen of Golden Egg Yolk of Smoked Duck Eggs

Nice Sheen of Golden Egg Yolk of Smoked Duck Eggs

The smoked duck eggs has a firm, moist texture and served in a salty, slightly sweet sauce which I think it was the Maggi seasoning. The half cooked eggs were served in a Chinese soup spoon making it easy to savour without spilling out the runny yolks. I found the seasoning a tad too much ... too salty to my taste, guess it should be served separately as a dipping sauce instead. Taste wise was pretty similar to the half boiled eggs, maybe the Maggi seasoning too overwhelming that I can't taste the smoky part of it. tongue

I was never a fan of 'gooey egg yolks', so I found this to be pretty average only. Price wise was pretty steep, charging RM5 for an egg, cut into 1/2 portion. mad

Stir Fry Sweet Potatoes Leaves

Stir Fry Sweet Potatoes Leaves

My two thumbs down for this lousy dish. huffySimple & easy dish to cook but the chef failed miserably in frying this vegetable dish. What lacking is the 'wok hei', tasteless & quite oily too. The saving factor is that the serving is generous. Anyhow, since we are not in the habit of wasting food, everyone somehow managed to finish it clean but vowed not to order it any more. sad

Well sometimes looks can be quite deceiving in some instant as in this particular noodles dish. From the appearance, the serving of the minced pork were extremely generous & looks delightfully savoury. The noodles were just right to my liking as any hakka noodles should be. Light & springy cooked till ala dante just like the pasta does. But, I'm sorry to say that the chef might have gone overboard with the seasoning as it's quite salty.sad Apart from that, except for the extreme saltiness, I find the noodles quite palatable.

This was one of the dishes which I can finished due to too much soya or seasoning added ! mad

Dining concept nowadays has been taken to a new level, where one can simply dine and shop together as well. One such place is the South Pacific Cafe & Boutique located within suburban Taman Segar Perdana in Cheras. Indulge in lovely western or local delights with soups, salad, pasta and healthy desserts. Fried dumplings in creamy mushroom, seafood spaghetti, green curry, pineapple fried rice, ginger tong yuen are just some of the mouth watering dishes waiting to be ordered.

A great concept of private dining in a pleasant setting for family, friends and BFF's to eat and be merry. If you're up for some delish home cooked meal, do check out this cosy little place as you mingle and chatter away with your family and friends. Believe me, dining in South Pacific is definitely one experience that should not be missed!lol

Cheesy Siciliana Pizza

Cheesy Siciliana Pizza

This is one of my favourite thin crust pizza besides the GG Special. With toppings of savoury home made tomato sauce, olives, mozzarella and the special addition of anchovies that was baked to perfection.

The Siliciana Pizza is crispy on the outside and extremely cheesy on the inside. I loved eating the slightly burnt cheese topping on this pizza.

In fact this is my first eating anchovies on pizza. They take on an intense but sophisticated fish flavour and I think may not goes well with some non fish eater due to the fishy delicate flavour.
