Best in its class Smile Feb 16, 2013

I've been to many 'high class kopitiams' but none of them could satisfy my tastebud. The only attraction of these type of kopitiams are free wifi and environment.

When comes to taste, Kluang Station Kopitiam is the best compared to their competitors. I love their nasi lemak with fried chicken and teh tarik. The price is affordable as well.

When it comes to nasi lemak, the most important thing is the fragrant of the rice and the taste of sambal. The nasi lemak in Kluang Station Kopitiam has fulfilled the criteria. The sambal taste great and the fried chicken, ahhh... so crispy and juicy. Not to mention their teh tarik just taste as great as those milk teas in coffee shops.

However, I found that their free WiFi wasn't that well maintained and their staffs are not efficient. Hope that they will take note of this and improve it.

Nothing to shout about OK Feb 16, 2013

I ordered the nasi lemak, curry noodle and chicken chop rice and chicken rice. The food wasn't as awesome compared to Kluang Station Kopitiam and the price is steep compared to its competitors. The location of the restaurant neither that ideal.

Among the foods I ordered, only the nasi lemak taste 'ok'. For the others there is nothing much to shout about. Oh, they charge you 50 cents for additional sambals too.

I used to love eating the famous soup pan mee in Cheras until my relative introduced me to this chilli pan mee few years ago.

This chilli pan mee is uniquely delicious and I was addicted to it. The noodle neither feels too soft nor too hard. The ingredients blend in well with the noodle. Don't put too much chilli as it is spicy unless you can take the spiciness. Although it doesn't feel spicy initially but at end of your meal you will feel it.

For the side dish, I love their Thai sauce tofu. The sauce taste great with the crispy tofu. But, their meatball doesn't taste that great.

*I am not sure whether it's just me or not but I think their chilli pan mee in other branches doesn't taste as great as in this branch.
