Friday 。 April Fool Smile Apr 03, 2016

Thank god, is Friday again and also Happy April Fool. Well, it is another last day of weekdays for people who busy working go out to somewhere for some chilling. I had been to another two hipster cafés which is at the same row as Ground Eatery that located at PFCC, Puchong. So, now I had a plan with friend to go to the third hipster café at there for our dinner. When we reached there at 7.40, I was wondering why there were so many people out there waiting…. Until a lady approached to me ‘Miss, did you do your reservation?’ So, now I know what’s happening right here…. Okay then we are in the waiting list and have to wait for 45 minutes approximately. #skippedthewaitingmoment# mad                 8.38pm: Finally, is our turn. We ordered as fast as we could since we already discussed while waiting for the table. The interior design is just simple decorations with lamps and wooden tables and chairs. I regret that don’t have a chance to go up to the second floor for the sit as there was a function happening up there I think. smile

Feel kind of like hungry ghost at the meanwhile, luckily they served their food fast to kill us from becoming hungry ghost. We ordered their signature dino eggs *is really looks like dinosaur egg haha* It is kind of like egg wrapped in minced pork plus a bowl of fresh salad. Besides, Kimchi Bacon Pasta was also in our order as my friend is a fan of Korean food. The bacon tastes awesome, the grill level is just at the optimum level. love
Four are never enough

Four are never enough

However, they also introduced us about their new dessert – Signature Hong Kong Eggettes. You won’t have an imagination that how would egg-waffle match with ice cream, cornflakes and chicken floss. Some sweet chilly feels with crunchy taste just perfect. Coffee lover won’t forget about her coffee, so I had ordered a cup of cappuccino with a love –The Simplicity of Coffee Arts. yummy

All in all, this place really worth to wait for the serving. The foods also quite value to money. And lastly I know what’s happening upstairs as the owner told me when I asking for take away - someone is going to purpose and they already booked the place one month before...No matter what, #thegirlsaidIDOatlast. balloonballoon

Kin San Kichi has been one of the very first Japanese restaurants I have been visiting ever since I could remember, or at least a Japanese restaurant with the most authentic good-tasting Japanese restaurant that my family and I have been very loyal to ever since our first visit. This japanese restaurant is located in one of the small shop lots in Sri Hartmas among tons of Korean restaurants and supemarkets. Kin San Kichi offers a very nice and oriental dining atmosphere. Kin San Kichi gives off a very true Japanese restaurant vibe, small and cramped but yet spacious at the same time. Every piece of furniture there is placed tightly together avoiding any waste of space but definitely does NOT leave you with an unpleasant dining experience. Like most Japanese restaurants in Japan, Kin San Kichi allows customers a slight view of the kitchen where you can see the chefs busy cooking up your meal at the back of the restaurant. For most malaysians, yes, the toilets here are very clean. Like I said earlier Kin San Kichi who offers one of the most authentic Japanese food in town (of those that I know), serves the one of the BEST cold sobas in town. Their cold soba is definitely affordable where if we're talking about you get what you pay for. Here's a tip, you MUST crack the Pigeon egg into your broth and add a tiny bit of wasabi. The next best dish that I adore from this restaurant is their sashimi, truth be told, I first started to learn how to eat sashimi in this very restaurant! Their sashimi set comes with a sashimi platter with salmon, tuna, butterfish, cuttle fish and other stuff, each a few slices and a bowl of aromatic Japanese calrose rice. Again, this sashimi set is one of the cheapest and most fresh sashimi sets I've ever tasted. When visiting kin San Kichi, it's like landing your foot in Japan for a meal and leaving after that. And, let us not forget about desserts, like what Japan is famous for, matcha, their matcha (green tea) ice cream here is definitely BOMB! It's not just it's wonderful creamy and icey texture but also the wonderful strong green tea taste unlike cheaper green tea ice creams that have barely any green tea taste. As for drinks, if you are not underage, then go ahead and try their sake. For those underage, you can stick with the good old Japanese green tea. All in all, I definitely recommend all Japanese food lovers to drop by this awesome and affordable Japanese restaurant.

Supplementary Information:
Get their sets. Super worth it!!!

Coconut Is Life Smile Jan 29, 2016

Categories : Thai | Stall / Warung | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

I remember once when I was young, my parents took me on a trip to Penang. During that trip, we stopped by a Thai-Buddhist looking temple. Like everywhere else in Malaysia, I remember it being a really sunny and hot day. Not knowing anything like any other grumpy kid, I threw a fit (nobody knows why). So, my dad took me to a side and we saw this man selling some ice cream with nuts on it in a cone. My dad took me over to the stand and got me some ice cream, maybe to improve my mood. And OMG, it was the first time in my life that I had tasted something so amazing! Coconut ice cream! Mind you, I am a huge fan of anything coconut. Coconut flesh, coconut water, nasi lemak, santan anything, what more coconut ice cream?! It was such a pleasure to find out later on that this chain of ice cream shops, Sangkaya had opened in Subang, Sunway Pyramid, Sri Petaling and later Bandar Puteri. Much happiness had I felt. Sangkaya in Sri Petaling and Bandar Puteri have really nice interior. Very mod yet a sligh balinese feel? The ice cream is served in either a cup, cone (forgot), and an empty coconut shell. Obviously, the empty coconut shell one is the best for photography for social media *wink* *wink*. Here's the thing, if you are not a big fan of super creAmy ice creams, do not fear the coconut ice cream here, it's not the sickeningly sweet type of milky ice cream. Just try it and I trust you wil, like me, have the same kind of love for Sangkaya. Also, they offer a rather wide range of toppings, I personally prefer the dried shredded coconut and nut toppings.

Happy Birthday Smile Jun 22, 2016

Nowadays, people don’t draw on paper, they draw on coffee drinks ha-ha. Thinking another way to show your best wishing to your friends and family, art on coffee will be one of the great ideas. Bookmark coffee can help you to send your wishing through coffee with any art you want to draw on the cup of coffee. They are specializing in serving you the most unique cup of coffee that only you have it to drink. heartheart

My friend knows I love coffee art very much so she brought me here to get me some coffee treat for my birthday. Before we walked upstairs to the coffee shop, we saw there is a mathematics equation on their board and people have to solve and get their password. *Wondering who will stand there and solve it ha-ha*. mad The first scene we saw – All seats were FULL… wow maybe that was a weekend. Then, we ordered our coffee and ask about the coffee art we want. The barista was really friendly and ask us to send the photos we want through whatsapp. like

Drinks came and phone eat first as usual ha-ha. And I don’t really wanted to stir my coffee as the art was so cute and can said as 95% looks alike to the real photos. The atmosphere is simple and peaceful matching with soft background music and surrounded with pictures on the wall with quotes. kingking

Simply Love This Place Smile Feb 01, 2016
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Seafood

The first time walking into this place, I sincerely felt like I was back in Korea again. This restaurant is very simple. It occupies half a shop lot so you can basically tell how simple this place has to be. The decor in here is all white. A very very simple and clean feel to the place. This place is owned by Koreans and while visiting you can often see the owner's daughter walking in and out and talking to her mum, who is is the kitchen cooking, super loudly like what most Koreans do. I simply just love this place! Here, you could order drinks but they also offer water which you have to go get yourself (like in most restaurants in korea). The people here are very friendly too. I would say 80% of their customers are Koreans who live in Malaysia. This place, like its name, obviously tells you that their kimbabs are amazing. Kimbabs are basically koren sushi. They even supply kimbabs to Korean supermarkets around the area but if you want them rolled fresh on the spot, you have got to visit this place. Another nice dish here is their DdeokMandu, which is basically Korean dumplings and rice cakes in a beef broth together with eggs and seaweed. Recently, they have introduced another Korean favourite which is Don-Katsu (Fried pork chop) but with cheese so it is cheese don-Katsu loved by all koreans in Korea. The cheese here is seriously amazing and springy. As you can see from the picture, I have also tried their kimchi Jiggae and ddeokboki which are both really great as well but not the best Around. (Hint: stay tuned to my profile if you want to find out where the BeSt ddeokboki is in Malaysia, also the where serves the best Kimchi Jiggaes). So, there's no need to ask further, no need to think anymore. Just get yourself to 88kimbab to try out their food and you'll forever see yourself returning to the place over and over again!
