Owl... hu hu hu~ OK Dec 20, 2015

Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

It was my first time visiting The Owls café as my friend recommend this café to me. First impression to me was a little small in size and was very crowded (it was lunch time). We ordered a cup of Rose Latte (never see before) and two waffles (David and Rebecca). Interesting name!

The rose latte was served with a fancy cup (like English tea cup) and some tiny rose petal.
David waffle is a normal vanilla flavor waffle topped with banana, almonds and some crunchy grains, chocolate sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a cute mini pretzel biscuit. Beside s that, it comes with The Owls café homemade peanut butter.

Rebecca waffle is also a vanilla waffle topped with some fresh strawberries and bananas pieces, some blueberries, some almond and a scoop of earl grey ice cream.
I sincerely recommend everyone to have David waffle because I like chocolate and moreover chocolate and banana are best friend. This flavor comes perfectly with the waffle and I felt like to fly when I had this. The natural sweetness of the fresh banana and chocolate sauce was amazing and the waffle was crispy so it was a perfect match! I don’t really like Rebecca waffle was just only because the earl grey ice cream because I don’t like earl grey….
For those who never visit, try check out this café. The Owls does not only serve waffles and beverages but it also serve some main course such as sandwich, croissant and etc.

Sheep! Meh hhhh~ OK Dec 20, 2015
Categories : Western variety | Café | Desserts

Wild Sheep Chase café can considered as a newly opened café in Taman Desa since it just opened in August. I went on a Monday at 12pm but it only open at 2pm on Monday so I had to wait…

Wild Sheep Chase is well known of signature soufflé as I read some article about it so I ordered it.

The soufflé took about half an hour for it to be served because the owner told me they only make it once customers order. With no doubt, the soufflé was served in a warm temperature and sided with a small scoop of pomelo ice cream and a mini jar of honey syrup. The soufflé was topped with powdered sugar and the presentation was delicate. The soufflé smelled nice and full of egg and vanilla aromas. The top is a little crispy and the content was soft and smooth and the bottom was the burnt and crystalized sugar. Therefore, the bottom was crispy too. I like to eat originally rather than with honey syrup or the pomelo ice cream since these “accessories” concealed the taste of soufflé.

In overall, I think the people is a little overrated the soufflé. Yes, it does taste nice but for me not until the level I really like this or to give a really high score because it’s not my cup of tea. No offense.

Quality Korean Time and Dessert Smile Dec 20, 2015

I think Caffe bene is not unfamiliar to Malaysian Kpop fans. Caffe bene is a Korean franchise café which have branches all around the world. Caffe bene is well known for its bingsu and I like the strawberry bingsu the most.

I like this because its slightly sweet and sour flavor enriched my taste buds. The strawberry bingsu was layered with crushed ice, strawberry pieces and red beans and a big scoop of strawberry ice cream.
Sorry I don't really remember price..

Sorry I don't really remember price..

On the other hand, the staff recommended me their signature non-coffee beverage, Misugaru Latte since I needed something warm during the time. Misugaru latte is a multigrain latte. I first thought that the taste might be awkward but it changed my thinking after my first sip. The latte was flowing light grain aroma and all the taste blended together unexpected well. I felt happy when I had this! A good recommendation I will definitely have it next time!

Lastly, the staffs were friendly and I spent a good quality time theresmile

Lasagne Nyam Nyam! OK Dec 17, 2015

Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Burgers / Sandwiches | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

I started to visit and have meal at KLCC San Francisco since I was around this area. During that period of time, I always ordered and had the breakfast set because it was so price worthy for the portion and taste too. It serves big portion breakfast and a cup of coffee or english tea. So nice!
However, I'm going to recommend its Lagsana today. San Francisco Coffee KLCC serves lasagnes with minced chicken. The price was RM 16.90. THe portion was relatively large for me.
The lasagne was about 5 to 6 layers so the amount definitely is not small. The sauce of lasagne was full tomato taste sauce. The sauce was a little sweet and a little sour so it stimulized my appetite. Moreover, the amount of chicken almost can fill up the plate. The lagsane and minced chicken was cooked very well so the chicken was easy to bite and swallow and the lasagne was tender but still bouncy. The top was full of melted cheese so this brought the flavour to another stage. And now I order this most of the time I visit.

Soft soft Llaollao ~ OK Dec 16, 2015

Categories : Western variety | Stall / Warung | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

I went out with my besties and we passed by Llaollao yogurt. At first, we didn't intend to have it but since it looked nice then we gave it a try. According to Llaollao website, Llaollao is frozen yougurt and it is made from skimmed milk at the moment of serving and combined with the finest toppings (from freshly-chopped seasonal fruits to cereals, fun crunchy toppings and delicious sauces), making it even more delicious and healthy.
The price of the yogurt varies with different sizes. RM 10.90 is for small and with one topping; RM 14.90 is for medium with 3 toppings and lastly RM18.90 is large with 3 toppings too. There are also some special menu and I don't mention here la~
We ordered a medium one and topped with caramelized sunflower seeds, melon and blueberries (p.s: sauce is considered a type of topping too so be wise when you decide the toppings).tongue
The frozen yogurt texture was smooth and soft and the the taste was a little tangy since it was yogurt! Since, the yogurt is a litle tangy so I suggest to match with something sweet yummy
The yogurt doesn't too strong and smoothly flow from your mouth until stomach....like
Lastly, I recommed this likewowmad but I think it's a little pricey if it's only for one person.
Soft and refreshing!
