Black Beer Pai Guat OK Aug 06, 2012   (Related Review)

In short, it's a braised Beer Pork Ribs.... The Ribs were deep fried until crispy, then was coated in a thick layer of marmait sauce/ caramel sauce, with loads of sugar and add with some beer... then undergo a reduction process to make it a drier version dish. The sauces taste exceedingly sweet, and the meat was super tough, but still, manage to chew...
Not to say very good, but it's definitely not a bad dish I've eaten so far.. ;)

penang ice kacang OK Aug 02, 2012   (Related Review)

The ice cream were soft and creamy (as usual), the peanuts were added to give some crunchiness texture and also some salty flavor to my ice kacang rather than just plain sugary astringency.
Something I would never get tired of elucidating is the difference of Penang Ice Kacang and the ubiquitous ice kacang that you can find outside - the redolent and sacchariferous rose syrup ;plenty of mushy red bean and corn!
*yammy yammi*
I love the velvety with a lightly nutty piquancy that plays around too!

Fried Oyster OK Jul 30, 2012

Fried oyster. Lots of oysters as you can see! Penang hawker is generous! Indeed!
Needless to describe... The egg base was pan-fried until slightly crispy at the edge, then with just suitable amount of 'starchy' tapioca flour was added to give enough gooey-ness to the flat egg dough..
Eat together with the sweet and garlic-infuse chili sauce... That would be perfect....!

Dessert. OK Jul 29, 2012   (Related Review)

Lot's of luxury cakes were found here .
I can see they uses a lot of berries to decorate their cakes...yummy~
I love the colorful contrast at the dessert department.

The apple pie tart was fantastic..the buttery crumbly base , paired with custard cream, and berries on top melts my heart right away. There's other titilating cakes on the rack too!

I found white color roti jala instead of yellow over here too! Taste just the same, like flat dough... tasteless, not sweet at all, because it was meant to be eaten with something sweet , such as the bubur cha cha..

More than the usual fruits can be found here...

Papaya, Honeydew, Honey melon, Rambutan, Longan, salad.. mango.. More!

All fruits were incredibly sweet and fresh, like seriously. I am falling deeper for this restaurant.
The kuih muih was delicious, even the presentation won my heart over all buffet restaurant I've tried before.
Kuih muih wasn't plain sweet, but full of the aroma of coconut milk...
All kuihs were freshly made too! No wonder it ttaste different from others!!
How am I able to differentiate ?easy, the outer part wasn't try at all.. it's still moist and sticky. That's the trick!
