Cooling Smile Jun 25, 2012

I have seen this bubble tea stall quite some time ago but didn't get to try it until just then. I bought the Red Bean Pearl Milk Tea. It consists of aromatic black tea, plump and sweet red beans, as well as milk powder. I love this flavourful drink, where the taste of red bean and the milk tea blend in so well together. Most importantly, it is not too sweet and very cooling! Quite a good choice.

Clams OK Jun 25, 2012

This restaurant is conveniently located in the Bangsar shopping district.

Not hungry but craving for a munch, I only ordered the Oriental steamed clams (RM20). When the dish is served, the aroma of the Chinese wine is so strong and tempting. The clams are very fresh, and nicely cleaned without any sands. The taste is fantastic too with quite a bit of gingers and basil herbs.

Yummy Hakka Dishes Smile Mar 21, 2012

All these while I thought Pencai (Potluck) is for at least 10 ppl, until the other day when I visited Ying Ker Lou, only to realize they actually offer the Pencai for 2 - 3 person. Awesome! We ordered the smallest one that costs RM118.

The Pencai looks very appetizing, and full of delicious ingredients! There are steamed chicken, fried prawns, pork stew with black fungus, stuffed tofu, vegetables... etc. And the best part that lies underneath all the dishes is the noodles! The noodles have absorbed all the yummy sauce, flavourful! Thumbs up!

Heavenly good! Smile Mar 08, 2012

Haagen Dazs has the reputation of serving good quality ice-cream, but I have never tried their fondue.

Each fondue set comes with 4 different flavours of mini scoops ice-cream (Belgian chocolate, strawberry, cookies & cream and vanilla), pieces of pound cake, choc chips cookies and fresh fruits! Huge portion that can easily feed 4 people! The rich melted chocolate sauce is the star, which give ya a long lasting after taste. I just can't help to dip for more. Thumbs up!

Yummy dessert Smile Feb 23, 2012

Originated from Hong Kong, Tong Pak Fu in KLCC has a very eye-catching sign board, with the cute funny comic characters.

The interior wall is painted with comics too, giving diners a very vibrant and relax atmosphere. Suits the high-tea feel hey!

We ordered 3 desserts to share. Tracka durian snow ice is the star of Tong Pak Fu, hence a must try! The finely shaved durian flavoured ice melted in your mouth straight away. There are generous amount of blended durian flesh infused in the snow ice too. Simply pleasant and very satisfying!

Creme brulee tastes good too. The egg pudding with the caramelized top layer is very well done, very smooth in texture, chilled inside yet warm outside.

We also had the Chilled mango sago creme with pomelo, which is not bad too though not as good as the previous two. The mango could be sweeter, and it would definitely taste better if it is served with more ice (more chilly).
