Walk around in a shopping mall and chances of you stumbling across milk tea kiosks with a long queue will fairly high. Milk Tea kiosks like these can be found all over KL just like mushroom popping out after a heavy rain. Ochado serves a variety of milk tea along with blended juice varieties. The one i had is milk tea with pudding at 75% sugar. Why indicate the sugar level? Beats me. I enjoy my food and beverage with original taste. Since the girl behind the counter recommended 75% sugar I just went along with it not putting too high hopes on it.

Ask anyone who patrons Alexis Bistro and Bar what is the most often ordered dessert and there is a high chance it would be Alexis's signature Tiramisu. On the 29th after having dinner, me and my partner headed to Alexis for a slice of their signature Tiramisu.

To our dismay, we were a step too late and had to see the couple next table savoir the last piece of Tiramisu for the day. The manager was kind enough to recommended 2 varieties of meringue. One of which is the mixed berry meringue the other is mixed nuts meringue. We opted for the mixed berry meringue.

The mixed berry meringue is topped with a healthy amount of strawberries and berries and has two layers of fluffy meringue. In between these two layers is a healthy amount of yogurt and berries. Although the strawberries were sour, the taste was balanced out by the sweetness of the meringue and the blandness of the yogurt. The texture of the cake is soft of the palate while the edge of the meringue is crunchy and melts in your mouth.

I would not say this is cake is on par with Tiramisu but I would not mind ordering this cake again as the saying goes there must be balance in life.

Their weekend lunch buffet is quite popular with the crowd. This is my second time back and the restaurant was fill to the capacity and I felt lucky I made a reservation before hand. The dish in the photo above is the tom yum kung. As you can see the prawn is quite big and there is quite a number of prawns in the soup too. The bowl of soup is big enough to be shared with two person and the spiciness level is just right.

Dirty nelly was giving discounts on selected items on the menu for their lunch and dinner during the merdeka celebrations. I came here for lunch with a colleague of mine and I got the dirty nelly's burger. Each meal comes with a free drink which is also bottomless. The burger was very juicy and the patty stayed put in its position unlike most burgers which the patty slipped off the burger if it is too moist. The fries were too oily for my liking.

Came back here again with my family to try the wat tan hor and to let my family members try a healthier version of the wat tan hor served here. As stated by other OpenRicers,the chef does not use any oil or garlic to cook it. I love the sauce as it was smooth and thick and it was sweet as well. My family members agree that there is enough wok hei to the dish and gives it a thumbs up.
