Cajun Chicken Burger OK Aug 01, 2012   (Related Review)

The Cajun Chicken Burger is grilled chicken breast marinated in homemade Cajun spice blend and topped off with roasted red peppers, lettuce, tomato, Spanish onions, and salsa. It is served with a side of coleslaw and french fries. We felt that the chicken meat was kinda too soft and was pretty tasteless. Quite disappointing since the ingredients sounded like they would have made a fantastic burger. The coleslaw was not bad though.

As the mille crepe was meant to be dessert, we ordered main courses to fill our tummies before the sweet food. This plate of Prawn and Eggplant Pasta looked pretty good when served. The big, fat prawns were fresh. The combination of yellow, orange, purple and green was lovely too. Unfortunately, it didn't have enough taste which was surprising considering the look and the fact that I found many garlic pieces inside.

Bean Curd with Almond Soup OK Jul 30, 2012

Categories : Restaurant | Desserts

This is Bean Curd with Almond Soup which I'm not too sure how to describe. Actually only half of it is bean curd and the remainder is the almond soup. Particularly, I did not like the syrup for the bean curd because it has ginger inside and it's also not really the usual light pandan kind. Once mixed with the almond soup, it created this strange sickeningly sweet taste. Apart from that, the bean curd is really soft and smooth while the almond soup is like liquid almonds! Honestly, I would have liked it both without the syrup.

After several good experiences with the Mexican chicken, I dragged my parents here for a taste. My hipster dad, finding it ridiculous that all 3 of us were to order the same thing, went with the steak instead. It was more expensive than the Mexican chicken at RM 14 but the taste was definitely not as good. He wasn't very impressed since it was dry & over cooked (he ordered well done) plus the sauce wasn't that great.

Dropped by for drinks! Actually like the environment here because it's so cheerful. The Cranberry Juice and Mojito Cocktail are RM 8 and RM 22 respectively. The Cranberry Juice obviously tastes like cranberry, sour and not too sweet. Mojito tasted like regular Mojito, minty.. The alcohol content in Mojitos are generally low but it felt like we were taking a mocktail instead.
