My friend and I went to Setia City Mall for a farewell lunch date since she's going for PhD next week. Not sure where to have our lunch and after some thinking and discussing, we opt for Delicious Cafe. Heard so many good reviews on Delicious Cafe from friends and internet, so couldn't wait to try.

Decided to order a Banoffee Pie and for drink, I chose Death by Iced Chocolate shocked
Awesome!

Awesome!

Banoffe Pie, acronym for Banana & Toffee Pie with whipped cream on top.
Seriously delicious and super sinful for me who 24/7 thinking about dieting all the time (just thinking, but no action taken ;p)
Marvellous!

Marvellous!

Had the Death by Iced Chocolate for my drink with vanilla ice cream on top of it. Intrigue by the name actually. hehe. Again, seriously delicious. Not too sweet and might be a bit too sugarless for some. Don't fret. You can ask for sugar syrup, like I did tongue

My supersinful lunch. (Got more actually. But wait for my next review! ;p)

First time dining at Chakri Express at 9.30 pm after the restaurant that we would actually like to dine in didn't accept customer anymore as it was almost closing time. So, the Chakri Xpress menu looked quite nice and so my husband and I with our grumbling stomach decided to just dine there.

Our orders that day were:
Different

Different

Tom Yum Glass Noodle - RM22.50

This was what my husband ate that night. IMHO, the tom yum tasted different from the others that I've tasted before. It wasn't really 'wow', but it wasn't bad either. It was quite nice actually with the right amount of spiciness. Worth to try if you would like to taste different taste of tom yum.
Suprisingly, quite nice

Suprisingly, quite nice

Crispy Wantan Ladna - RM16.50

I ate this wantan noodle served with thick Ladna soup. Some people may not like the thickness of the soup but again for me the taste was quite good. And i finished it till the last drop. ;p

Soft Shell Crab Fried with Yellow Egg Gravy

We've tried quite a number of restaurants with soft shell crab dishes. I love soft shell crab very much but not my husband. However, this particular soft shell crab fried with yellow egg gravy here in Chakri Xpress did a wonder to my husband as he liked it very much.

As usual, different people have different taste. The foods were not perfect in taste, but for me they were quite yummy and different from what I've tasted before especially the Tom Yum and the Soft Shell Crab. So, do try. ;)
