Ever since I came back from a holiday in Bali, I had a weakness for all things Bali. So I had high hopes when I went to Ole Ole Bali for a meal. I decided to try their Seafood Platter since Balinese cuisine is well known for grilled stuff. I wasn't disappointed as it was pretty appetizing.
The Seafood Platter comes with fish, prawns, squid and balinese satay. Side dishes are a bowl of salad, fried chips and sauce for dipping. The platter came on a basket plate with banana leaf. The fish and prawns were still juicy and fresh and the grilling really brings out the sweet taste of the flesh. The squid is chewy and tasty while the satay could do with some improvement because balinese style is way better than their version. The satay meat was not very well flavoured and tasted a bit lacking in density. The grilled items were served with white rice and sambal which is a good combination. At RM32 the portion is pretty decent and you get what you pay for.
