Beef Carpaccio  Smile Jul 31, 2013

The latest establishment by Werner Kuhn, The Steakhouse is a 40-seater steak joint along Changkat Bukit Bintang and adjacent to The Whisky Bar is something to look for the nice delicious steaks and good food. The brainchild of the Master Chef’s of Malaysia’s Top Restauranteur, Mr. Werner Kuhn had open a number of prominent F&B Outlets under his belts not only The Steakhouse KL but also includes the famous El Cerdo, Black Forest, Werner’s On Changkat and Whisky Bar.

We had the Beef Carpaccio where the the typical Italian Dish with raw meat is being serverd to our table. The deliciously made Beef Carpaccio did savour our taste bites where it was well seasoned with the capers and most importantly the meat itself was fresh. With the freshness of the meat itself, the dish was just perfect with the shavings of parmesan cheese added into it. Perfect!
Price: RM 32.00

THE SALADA Smile Jul 30, 2013

Melur & Tyme is simply a cozy and beautiful cafe. We started with the leafly fruity salad which is simply special. The salad which is served with the stimulating textures of the dragon fruits, kiwi, orange fruits, pistachio nuts, grated mozzarella, orange cheddar, quail eggs and tossed with date vinaigrette. The salad brings the refreshing taste and I love the salad blend with the bites of the pistachio nut while enjoying the green leafy delights.

Seafood Marinara Smile Jul 30, 2013   (Related Review)

Seafood Marinara - Fresh pieces of fish, prawns and mussels are first blanched, instead of deep-fried to maintain the tenderness of the seafood. It is then slowly cooked in a “home-made” tomato sauce and served over spaghetti. The tomato sauce is not salty or oily and the use of fresh herbs ensured there was no tangy aftertaste. A very heart-warming meal indeed.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 19.90 / set ( comes with soup and a drink)

Breeks Café Smile Jul 30, 2013

The Cajun Blacken Fish makes a satisfying meal in itself. The Cajun-style fish is served with spaghetti done al denté and a generous helping of lightly blanched zucchini, carrots and mushrooms. Each bite into the tender fish is a fusion of tastes. The taste of black pepper, herbs and mustard teases the taste buds, against the succulence of the charbroiled fish. There was no hint of oiliness or saltiness, which made the dish a treat.
