这碗东炎汤是向砂煲鸡饭摊档旁边的“泰国餐”摊档叫的。由于叫了烧腊鸡和叉烧饭，所以我们在叫东炎汤时，只要求汤不要白饭。东炎汤端上来后，摊主没有要折扣的意思，还是照收原价RM6。东炎汤汤头的酸味足够。不同于一般的东炎汤，喝起它的每一口除了喝到酸味以外，还伴随着浓郁的椰浆味。东炎汤里面的海鲜料有小卷、鱿鱼、鱼片、鱼丸和虾子。海鲜料都给得比较小只，尤其虾子更甚。无论如何，用来熬煮东炎汤以增加其酸香味的香料和材料都没少，可看到汤里面放了香茅、麻疯柑叶、姜片、大葱片、番茄片和辣椒等。东炎汤本来就是属于重口味的。而这碗椰浆东炎汤喝起来，味道还不赖。只是就个人而言，我还是比较喜欢不加椰浆的东炎汤。

星期二晚上，妈妈和朋友相约去怡保游玩。在家里没有煮晚餐的情况下，我和大姐甫下班就约好在Bayan Lepas那区找吃。把车停在了Sg Dua的Tesco Extra，我们共乘一辆车出发。基本上对这一区的美食没什么概念，在路上迂回往返了几次，我们最后决定了在美丽华饮食中心（省略为美丽华）用晚餐。这刚过的周日才在美丽华用早餐，想不到那么快又回到老地方。美丽华晚上的生意看来也不错。看到有些摊档的面孔很熟悉，想必是非常辛勤地从早上卖到晚上，当然也有只专门做夜市生意的摊档。晚市生意可见“乐乐”档，还有其它诸如肉骨茶、板面、砂煲鸡饭、峇拉煎鸡、鲜鱼、台湾香肠和鱼头米粉等等。看到那里有档顶着红色大招牌金，用金黄色字体写着的“美丽华驰名烧腊鸡鸭饭”摊档。所以我们就叫了一盘鸡饭和叉烧饭来吃，看看是不是真的驰名。

这档咖喱面是阿姨强力推荐说好吃，所以我们才叫来试吃看的。这也证明了每个人对食物口味上的钟爱都不尽相同。有时候我觉得好吃的东西，别人吃起来却是觉得不过尔尔或不好吃。咖喱面摊档的营业时间是从早上的6.30至中午1.30，星期三休息。咖喱面的汤头喝起来，椰浆味有较一般喝到的咖喱汤高和浓郁。汤头的味道喝起来对我来说是不够重，咸度有可是喝起来不会很明显；相对地对阿姨来说就是味道适中。此外，咖喱面另放有鱼丸，一般咖喱摊档都不放鱼丸的。叉烧肉则是素的而非真正的肉叉烧。

周日和爸、妈、妹妹、阿姨一行五人到美丽华饮食中心吃早餐。点了盘爪哇面，主要是因为不经意瞧见它的呈盘卖相，看起来觉得应该会很好吃，现在才知道卖相会骗人。爪哇面摊档的营业时间是从早上6.30至晚上11.00。第一口汤汁喝下去，就觉得味道输了。酸度够而甜度却明显不够。此外，一般的“老鼠炸”和煎饼在外形的辨识度上很高，做法和色泽也分得很开。可这一档的“老鼠炸”和煎饼却是孪生兄弟，无论在色泽或炸法上都如出一辄，所以吃时也不太去分辨吃的究竟是“老鼠炸”还是煎饼。反正吃起来的口感和脆度都有。

I was curious to find why a pancake store would sell so well and when I went to order, straightaway, I knew why. I was baffled by the choices that they have offered. There's a variety of choices that includes peanut, peanut butter, kaya, chocolate, jagung, brown sugar, sausages and many more. Personally, love the crispy peanut version. I have only tried crispy peanut, chocolate and brown sugar version.

There is enormous selection of hawker food available here but there isn't any that can be considered particularly outstanding. This stall sells popiah.PopiahThis popiah tastes alright. It uses fresh popiah skin to wrap the fillings. The fillings of this popiah include shredded carrot, cucumber, sa kok, onions and other vegetables. It is eaten with chilli sauce to give it extra kick.
